Well... Although I don't like Rose very much, she is still better then all of them. So, still Rose.

I did manage to get through all 6 episodes on the third attempt at watching it and actually enjoyed it when I did. :P It is too long and sloooooow but it does have a decent amount of substance to it and I applaud the ambition of it.

To me, the brilliant thing about Maureen O'Brien as is that she was a grown woman playing a young girl and I believe it. Vicki also had a really great bond with the 1st Doctor and she wasn't afraid of being tactile with him. Of all the companions, Vicki really seemed devoted to him.
