I'm not aware of Lord Sugar saying he'd given his business card to anyone this year? Was that mentioned on one of the extra programmes, because I haven't seen them? I follow Sugar on twitter in recent weeks and haven't seen him tweet anything like that? Francesca got an explicit acknowledgement that he might be making a mistake picking Luisa over her and he wished her well. I think that's just as good as a 'with regret' and I'd say she's had the second most positive firing this year after Neil. Francesca, having made up figures (as she'd herself say) on her business plan left herself open to a much more negative firing than that.

I meant in previous series. And I dont consider it good enough. And again she didnt make up figures on her business plan only on her CV.

You said he gave it to everyone. He didn't - in previous series or this series.

I don't ever recall anyone in the adult series ever being given his business card upon being fired. In fact, the only remotely similar thing I can remember is Debra being told to "keep in touch" way back in series 5. Nothing like that happened in 6, 7 or 8. Her firing was very, very soft and I'm sure she was perfectly content with it.

Hi guys. I don't know what Dubest's game plan is, but he/she clearly wants to wind everybody up. The vast majority of us on this thread have our opinions, but respect that other people may disagree. Dubest is deciding that his/her opinion is the only one, and that it is correct. But it is often wrong. The previous posts about spoilers was clearly wrong, yet he/she kept on and on and on; also criticising FMs on their grammar, spelling etc.

I for one have had enough of being treated like a schoolchild, and will totally ignore Dubest's supercilious, haughty, arrogant posts on this thread in future.

The only case of him doing it in the adult series was with the returning candidates in the final in Series 1. It hasn't happened anywhere else, though to my recollection.

On the show, we saw Luisa did listen to others - she took her winning idea from Jordan in her first outing as PM, and eventually went along with spending more. Her last outing as PM was very much leadership by consultation. She could hardly agree with Jason to spend all day designing one flower logo - he wasn't telling her what to do - he was avoiding decisions. If either is, she's the one who is frighterned of his Lordship. Leah's the one who decided to do the opposite to what Zee told her - for equally good reasons. She's also the one who has been trained to follow her own judgement when elderly men are telling her they know better whats wrong with them....

That sounds strange given YF is normally a huge love feat but to me it is more likely to be Luisa who I could see being petulant over losing. I may just be seeing what I want to see though!

It didn't even cross my mind that his comment may denote something that may have happened, just came across as a typical comedic take on the matter.

Luisa's shop did bake some cupcakes with her photo on it and the words 'You're Hired' next to it. You can see them on her twitter photostream.

Ah yes. This photo was taken right in front of me immediately after the recording, despite everyone in the audience being told explicitly not to take any photos. I won't comment one way or the other about whether the photo-taker is telling the truth or winding people up.
