Just caught up with this week's three episodes and the Finale. That may be the craziest most controversial ending I've ever seen to a reality show.

Topaz is SO stupid but I love her for it because I wanted Jillian to win so much (well I wanted Emmott to win but he wasn't in Final 2) and I didn't think Gary having been voted out once already deserved to win. So amazing that her mistake cost Gary the win and she was so 150% sure!

I liked Gary as a person, but I loved Jillian's carcrash game. So I thought she'd be the perfect winner to this carcrash season and getting closer to the end I found myself rooting for her to win.

The more I think about it the more I think this ending is great. lol I think the worst thing the season could have been was boring and it certainly hasn't been, even to the last few moments.

The way Gary has behaved is very admirable too.

Gary took it very well to be fair to him.

But yeah. This season was a mess. I kind of looked at it as Bizarro Big Brother.

i didn't enjoy it simply because i felt so bad for topaz, for it to be her that made the mistake being the closest to gary and knowing her bad luck during the game with the twist happening to her and stuff, i just felt terrible for her.

it was certainly memorable.

That was so crazy. I love that bitter bitches Alec and Peter got ****ed over, with that vote.I think Emmett winning would have been good for the show. like Hatch for Survivor and Will for US big brother. However I reckon this epic vote **** up, is pretty good too.

I think most of this season has been very boring and predictable.

It's bullshit.

Everybody knows she wanted Gary to win. She made that clear all along. She immediately spoke up after her vote was read. It wasn't a stunt.

"There's nothing we can do," is bullshit. They could do what was clearly the right thing. The universe would not implode. That vote card is not a rock too big for God to lift...

It's a bunch of bullshit. Anyone who honestly thinks "there is nothing we can do" is either a smirking, bitter little cheat like Emmett... or a victim of conditioning. There was nothing to prevent them from doing the right thing but this nonsensical and arbitrary and absurd respect for "rules" as if they are Unbreakable Laws Of The Universe.

I'm glad Gary got to truly show the people he proclaimed as the ones he wanted to impress upon just how to actually be something beyond drama & glitter. I hope this doesn't devolve.

I'm pleased that DumbAss Emmett never even got a chance to "crush" Jillian, the one who's coat-tails he rode throughout.

It was funny to see LOUDMOUTH continue to embarrass himself with his continued Joe Bitterman idiocy ("Trademark Blather"! ).

And lastly, really, the only good thing that will come of all this is Talla's ~FHM~ (or whatever) shoot(s). So y'all let me know.

She didn't speak up straight away though, it took a few seconds for that hand to go up. Anyway glad Gary didn't win and the bitter jury didn't win.

Yeah... it took a few seconds. Great point. Forget everything sensible I just said. It took a few seconds. Forget all the plain, stark and relevant sense I just made. Let's argue about how a few seconds might not be "immediately"... how long would you like to carry on that argument?

Yeah because she was in SHOCK and couldn´t believe what was happening.

It would have been nice to have seen a close up a lot quicker, the camerwork generally was poor. First time I remember a winner being announced and us not actually seeing the reaction in the house at that moment.

She couldnt change her vote after hearing how four other jury memebers had voted. You could argure that she thought Talla would vote for Gary so to be controversial she voted for Jillian thinking it still wouldnt be enough. When she had heard Talla had voted for Jillian she tried to change her vote. Probably wasnt what happened but you never know. They cant get into the habit of allowing people to change their votes after they are read out. It would end up happening every season.

No. We all know - everybody watching at home; everybody in the studio audience; everybody on the jury; all the crew in the studio; the host; the housemates that weren't on the jury -- WITHOUT A ****ING DOUBT, that she wanted for Gary to win.

Anyway, this is just a bad reality show... the point I've decided to make is more about how bureaucratic BULLSHIT is bureaucratic bullshit. This ****ing lockstep braindead shit is horrible.

For instance, next time they drag someone off to the electric chair because some very real, very pertinent, and very clear evidence "needs" to be ignored because it's "too late", "too chartreuse", "not formatted just right" and "them's the rules"?

That's when people need to really snap out of this mindlessness and and say, "what the **** are you talking about?"

His points might be a little more credible if he didn't need to curse every other word. He comes across to me as one of those irritants who tries too hard to be controversial. I certainly don't think he said it "best".

Swearing doesn't make anything less valid.

Jillian wouldn't have even been close against Emmitt I expect, so it actually worked out better for her. But Emmitt was an idiot not taking Talla. Emmitt gave Jillian the chance to win.

I was talking about how I personally see it, and doing it in such excess certainly does for me. There's a difference between swearing and saying "****" almost every other word.

He was so caught up in the thought that because Gary had been returned to the house he could beat him in the final that the idea that he wouldn't actually make the final hadn't fully registered.
There's no way Talla would have won two of the final 3 competitions,so he definitely took the wrong player there.
He tripped at the final hurdle for sure.

So because of the vernacular a person chooses to express an opinion .... you discount that opinion.

I think the reason why they couldn't do a re-vote was because it would basically put them in a position where they could face a huge lawsuit which they would have no chance of winning. Regardless of the circumstances behind her getting those votes, by the rules, Jillian had the game won. She had four votes in her box instead of three. They can't just take one out because one of the jury didn't like her vote anymore.

It's a real quirk of fate, but changing the vote would have been unfair on Jillian, even though the very fact that was in that position was a massive stroke of luck on her part. Nobody broke any rules in the final - Topaz just made a massive mistake and didn't pay enough attention to what she was doing.

Allowing her to switch her vote would have given us the "correct" winner, but would also essentially mean they took the money out of Jillian's hands for no valid reason. Topaz wanted Gary to win, but was given the exact same scenario as the other jurors and voted for Jillian to win. That's not the shows fault and it's not Jillian's. Topaz may have made a mistake, but she could have voted for Gary if she wanted to - if you were to consider it impartially, her vote is no less valid than that those of Emmett, Talla and the rest of the houses.

Rule books are supposed to be impartial to all players, and in this situation I think the rule-book was very firmly on Jillian's side. She would have had a very good case if they had changed the vote, because ultimately the rules just state that you need four votes to win, which is what she had. They don't say anything about how you go about getting them. I feel really bad for Gary in all of this because he was supposed to be the winner of this season, but he really can't do anything about it, because for the wrong person or not, there was nothing invalid about Topaz's vote.

To sum up my opinion in a sentence ...
Any blame for Gary not winning the show should be laid directly at the feet of Topaz.
