Good evening ladies and gentlemen, it's my pleasure to welcome you all to the grand final of The Twist Factor!

After having to postpone the show two times, I'm glad that I've finally found a suitable time to get this done. Normally, this is where I tease you with a twist, but tonight's twist is the fact that there are no twists!

Anyway, let's recap what happened during last week's semifinal. Six acts sang for their lives, but only four would return for tonight's final. The show was divided into two parts, each with its own voting window and scoreboard. Girl V Boy were the first to fall during round one of the semifinal, and in a shocking turn of events, Aiden Grimshaw followed them, ending up in 5th place despite incredible praise from the judges over the course of the series.

Today, it's time to wrap up this amazing series. One of the remaining four acts will be crowned the winner of The Twist Factor, along with their mentor. There are four rounds in total tonight, but not every act will be singing four songs. After each act has sung twice, the lines will open and after they close again I will announce which act has finished in 4th place. After that has been done, the remaining acts will reprise a song from earlier in the series, after which one more will leave. Then, the top two will sing their winner's songs in a bid to convince you to propel them to the title of Twist Factor champion. However, we're far from crowning our winner at this point, so let's start by introducing you to the three judges and the top four!
Judges, here's your intro tune once more : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6uX0MWetHA

Team Kevin
Beverly Savarin
Matt Defreitas

Team Steve
Little Mix
Tasha Pyne

And jackel1234 as our special guest judge once again!

I apologize for being a tad late, I had some business that needed to be taken care of.

Judges, are you all here and ready to get this show on the road again?

All right, Jack will be here later tonight, so I will be posting his comments and complimentary GIFs until he gets here. Soppyfan just sent me a message from his phone saying that his internet is acting up, so he will be delayed as well. Finally, I expect Kev to be fashionably late as always.

For the first theme, the top four will be going all crazy with their songs. Their mentors were tasked with finding songs that suited their acts, but were totally different from what they usually do. In other words, each act will be taking on a new direction for this theme only.

Her mentor Kevin correctly predicted that she would be here in the final, and she's going to show everyone how it's done. Going crazy with Sexyback by Justin Timberlake (Corinne Bailey Rae cover), it's the flawless Beverly Savarin!

Note: This sexy, swing esque style is a new direction for Beverley and the original is an upbeat urban dance song, again not the typical Beverley choice.

Beverly Savarin

I get what Kev was trying to do in terms of the risk here as you and this song are basically on completely different planets and is basically exactly what the theme is about. Corinne’s vocals are quite similar to yours in certain songs and I think this would class as one of them. I do admit at quite a few times I was slightly less than impressed as it did go on for a while without much of a change but I think overall this was a solid start to the final.

I feel so lonely here...

Anyway, a pretty good start for Beverly there. Of course it could be better, but perfection is a goal that can't ever be reached anyway. Will she survive the first cut or will she be the first to fall tonight?

They've had pretty good comments over the course of the show, and here they are taking on a much more 'poppy' direction: it's Little Mix singing Bottles by Krystl!

Little Mix

Like Beverly I have mixed feelings about this performance. The verses for me were just not really suited to you girls and that was disappointing and whilst the chorus felt more suited to you it was still one of those performances that I could just do with forgetting. I think last week you mentor sort of got you with the first choice (Janelle Monae) and I think that this week he sort of lost his way with this choice in away. I understand that this is risk week but I was sort of hoping for a cover of another song that was made suited to you and not this one.

Not a good start for Little Mix there, can they get back on track with their second performance or has this performance influenced their chances too greatly? Could this be the end for them?

Continuing my monologue, err I mean the show, it's the other member of Team Steve. She's defied all odds already by managing to get herself all the way to the final, which not many people would and could have predicted back at the start. However, she doesn't want it to end here, so going crazy for you all with Easy To Love by Tess Henley, it's Tasha Pyne everyone!

Tasha Pyne

After last week I began to think that you would become a serious contender in the final after your second performance. Now though I think you may have blown your chances as this song was really not suited to you. The song felt quite old fashioned and the vocalist in this was not suited to you which is a big disappointment from my point of view and I think you’re gonna have to knock it out of the park with the next song otherwise I have a feeling you’re gone.

Not a great start for Tasha either, will she be able to keep her momentum going or will she come to a screeching halt right before the top three?

Closing the first portion of tonight's show, it's the amazing Matt Defreitas singing James Vincent McMorrow's version of Whip My Hair by Willow Smith!

I really liked that for Matt. It wasn`t what he usually does but it suited him well. It was a little boring but the best so far!!

Matt Defreitas

Matt you know I love you and think you’re amazing and I am actually applauding your mentor for choosing the riskiest song of the night and although James tries his best to make this song somewhat more credible it does get a bit boring with nothing changing. The vocals were quite well suited to you and I really liked how tonight you show off more of your higher range and I think overall tonight you’ve probably won the Let’s Go Crazy round as this was the most suited. So props for this performance.

A good start for both members of Team Kevin it seems. Has Matt secured his place in the top three already or does he still have to convince you with his second performance?

That's it for the Let's Go Crazy songs everyone. However, each act will have one additional chance of convincing you that they should be in the top three. The top four will each sing a duet with an already eliminated contestant. You might even see one of your eliminated favourites back during this round!

Anyway, back to Beverly Savarin. Her mentor Kevin has paired her up with another of his own acts for some serious soul and RnB action. Prepare yourselves, here are Beverly Savarin and Arin Ray singing What You Do by Chrisette Michele feat. Ne-Yo!

Beverly Savarin

Okay now this one was a big improvement on the first performance and I really like the blend of both you and Arin on the stage. I also like how Kev chose a previous contestant who wouldn’t over power you Beverly or make you shine less than the person you’re performing with. So big props to Kev on this performance as it so far has been one of my favourite performances from you of this series so bravisimo to you.

And that's 2-0 for Beverly Savarin according to the comments! However, she will still need your support if she is to survive the upcoming cut!

Hoping to blow everyone away with their second performance, it's Little Mix up next. Their mentor Steve has paired them up with the early eliminated Cher Lloyd. Will this work in their favour or will it not. I guess we can only find out by hearing the pair perform F16 by Colette Carr!

Little Mix

Colette Car <3
*standing ovation*

Now back to this performance and all I can say is Soppy I think this is one of those rare occasions where I am extremely impressed by one of your choices! This was a really smart choice as it blends Cher and Little Mix’s urban styles and since we know that both of you girls can rap and sing amazingly well this was just a rather genius choice. After the first song I wanted more and damn did we get it, that was a really fantastic performance.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you turn the tide! A standing ovation is just what Little Mix needed to get back in the game. If you liked it as much as Jack did, don't forget to pick up your figurative phone and vote for these girls!

And as if the jazzy song from round one wasn't crazy enough, Tasha Pyne will be tackling a country-esque song called Not A Love Song by Wonderland this time with the help of the one and only Carolynne Poole!

Tasha Pyne

Well..... I think you’re done now Tasha. Although I would like to give credit to your mentor for taking a risk by going with country song but this was basically the Carolynne Poole show as the song was way more suited to you rather than it was to Tasha and that’s depressing because last week I thought you could be the surprise of the competition and win the whole thing but now I think you’re going as you’ve been less than impressive tonight.

Ouch, another mediocre comment for Tasha Pyne there. She's defied the odds before, but can she do it again tonight?

Just one more performance to go before the lines open for the first time tonight. It's the infamous duo of Matt Defreitas and Jake Quickenden, who once avoided partkaing in a vote thanks to a twist together, singing Sex by The 1975 for you tonight!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxfpdbuJmWQ
Note: They would split the verses and duet on the choruses

*Standing Ovation*

Okay your mentor basically just chose the perfect duet partner and the perfect song for you both to sing together. Literally I was expecting when I first saw this partnership I was expecting some acoustic song but instead Kev went with a really indie rock song that complimented you both really well and allowed both of your to properly shine so all I can say is that was amazing lads and I think that it was a brilliant duet.
