“I honestly think that the Auditions, Bootcamp and Judges Homes round of the show were all superb and it all went downhill when it arrived in the live shows. What needs to be improved in Season 3.

1. Do not alienate the adult viewers. Season 2 was far better than Season 1 but it became more of a Teen X Factor show. It was focused on the teens too much, that's why maybe mature viewers like me found it hard to watch it. The show last season obviously tried to pimp a teenager to win (Carly Rose, Diamond ++) and alienated the good ones like Janelle. And the groups, they`re more of a groups meant to be loved by the teenagers. It's all about the teens, what about us adults? The overs last season were all blah except Tate. And please, the neon logos are too much!

2. There was too much theatrics going on. The UK X Factor has their fair share of theatrics but the US one is just too much! Paige and Cece's were all over the place... too much.

3. Get mature audience! Eliminate the screaming teens in the mosh pit! Their voices get more airtime than the actual casts of the show.

As I was rewatching the whole show, I kinda felt that US X Factor was trying to be a show of its own. It felt distant with the UK and Australian versions of the show.

Still, I have a good feeling about Season 3!

Was browsing through facebook comments in TXF USA's page and I caught up with this one. I actually agree with it. Season 2 became more of a Teen show

I don't think they should focus more on mature acts and mature audience.

Major labels have no use for acts over 30 years old. You bet they won't let another Tate Stevens happen this year.

The goal of the show is to find the next big popstar and middle aged audience won't go for those types. Just look at American Idol. Vanilla, vanilla, extra vanilla!

I don't like 12 and 13 years old on the show. I think the 16-24 age bracket is the perfect, so I hope the next winner is from this age group - solo or as a group.
