So when is there going to be a 'shock' double firing?

It happens every year.Lord Sugar gets relly really angry, steam comes out of his ears, and he fires both candidates. There is no reason to think that it won't happen again this year, unless the series is one week longer than usual.Which I doubt it is.

I will go for Week 8,just for the sake of it.Make your own guess, and the ones who get it right can come back and gloat at how smart they are,etc....

I'll say six.

In fairness, they have only done two double firings in the last four series. The most recent one, I think, most proper Apprentice enthusiasts could've seen coming a mile off. Too many candidates, Stephen clearly not up to cop, and quite ridiculously, the BBC had announced a "Final Five" programme for between weeks ten and eleven. So, while I've been watching since S5 in 2009, I do feel like I've only seen the surprise double firing thing once.

(On which note, Vincent wuz robbed.)

If there's no double-firing the series will be the same length: they'll just have more people in the interview round (and possibly the finale). We start with 16 candidates and it runs for 12 weeks. We reach the interview round after 10 weeks, so if we've lost one candidate per week we'd have 6 for interviews. They could fire 2 then and have 4 in the final, or fire 4 and have 2 in the final.

The format is very flexible. It has to be, because candidates can quit. There was no double-firing in series 5 or 6, for example, but someone quit in each so we had 5 for interviews.

Interview is the final, nowadays, both week twelve - but, yes, your broader point stands! They could happily interview five. Frequently did.

If the series follows the format of the last two series (As I expect it will) then the Interviews will be in the Final Week as opposed to the penultimate one. Personally, I think five in the Final would be too top-heavy for various reasons, so I say there will be a double firing at some stage.

I'm going to push the boat out and say it'll be earlier this year and go for Week 4, for no particular reason.

Treble firing in week one

I just hope there's only 2 finalists instead of 4.

I highly doubt it. Interviews with two people just wouldn't work. There wouldn't be enough interesting filler in the interviews themselves.

Oh well,I was only a week out. Just a shame that Neil the Hairy Neck Monster's team didn't lose.He is by far my least favourite person left in the show.Frankly because of his grotesque gobbler apart from anything else.

Seriously,do ANY ladies (or gay guys) find his horriffic hirsute look the least bit attractive? Honestly,if I was in a position like Lord Sugar, where I could have basically anybody who came through the door if I so wanted,I wouldn't even think about considering someone who refuses to make an effort to look like a normal human being.

Normal people just DO NOT have that much neck hair.Seriously, his neck makes me angry.

Him and Zee could set up a fetish male grooming business for guys who want to look live cavemen.

Neil is hot and that neck hair which you detest actually makes him look hotter. Deal with it.

I'd say he's quite attractive actually. Yes the neck hair is a bit off putting and not the most pleasant thing to look at, but apart from that I don't see anything wrong with his appearance In fact I'd say he's one of the more attractive ones out of the males, but that's such a shallow approach to think LAS shouldn't allow people on the show that he does not deem to be attractive He may not be the most pleasant person, but he's been one of the strongest candidates this series so more than deserves his place in the top 8.

if danny dyer has been one of the strongest candidates this series then that shows how bad this series has been,
