After over a decade of Big Brother UKs format do you think it's time for a revamp or is it fine how it is

Personally I've always preferred foreign formats they make the show more interesting

Id like a mix of bbus and our version. HOH POWER OF VETO AND HAVE NOTS WOULD BE GOOD IN YHE UK a mix of HOH nominating 1 and 2 nominations from the house

They've done HOH, Save & Replace (Dave in the final pair instead of 1st out), allowing nomination discussions (which they stopped after a couple of weeks last year as it fueled the nastiness, etc.

The only new thing I'd like to see is 3 or more up each week. Otherwise let the HM's personalities and the inventiveness of the tasks carry the show.

No, I prefer it the way it is. If I wanted to watch the US format, I'd watch Big Brother USA.
But I don't like it, which is why I don't watch it

Plus, I'd assume most people wouldn't like the change

I'd like it to go back to how it was at the beginning, no twists, two weeks before the first eviction, only nine weeks, vote to evict, and live-feed.

Won't happen though, but change is bad.

Each housemate nominates two others.
The most nominated face the public vote.
The loser of the vote (whether it be to save or evict, I don't care) is evicted.

It doesn't need anything else imo. My favourite aspect is wondering who will nominate who, etc, I HATE nomination twists and changes. Leave that aspect alone, please.

The only format I want to watch is the existing format where HM's cant discuss nominations. In addition no tampering with the nomination process at all. Instead punish HM's by giving them 2 nomination points and disqualify them from nominations. Also have a minimum of 3 up if it is a vote to save.

US format all the way for me... BB:USA and BB:CAN are the only BB's that I make sure I watch every episode of nowadays.
Perhaps if C5 went to 3 highlights shows a week I'd watch them all, I dunno.
The boring goings on in Boreham Wood just aren't that good without a Live Feed to put them into some form of context,in my opinion.

Personally I would go with the American version, it's much more compelling to watch and rewards strategy and competition on what should be a game-show.

If that can't happen then the main change I want is a minimum of three up each week.

The format is fine as it is, its just the production that has badly let it down in the last few years. Big Brother works best as a simple show. Stick a few people in a house specially designed for that series (e.g. the rich/poor BB3 house, calm and relaxing BB4 house, claustrophobic BB5 house etc) and let them get on with it.

But because of how extreme it became in previous years, they now engineer situations which they really shouldn't. But judging by the changes rumoured so far, it does seem to be going in the right direction and I'm really looking forward to the summer series for the first time since about BB8 or 9.

I do think the first 2 weeks should be without an eviction (have they ever done that here ?)

Another vote for having a minimum of 3 up for each eviction, as it stops the housemates bloc voting and gives the public more choice to actually save their favourite housemate.

Since we changed to voting to save almost every head-to-head eviction has got on my tits.

Sada BB1, evicted on Day 15.
Penny BB2, evicted on Day 15.

In BB5 Kitten was removed, Michelle & Emma fake evicted, Emma removed and after a week's post-Fight Night delay, Vanessa was evicted on day 29.

I think they need to allow the show to flow a bit more naturally for this series. Tasks are fine and throwing in the odd surprise etc. But try and let things happen as naturally as possible.

I think a week would be enough to be honest. Victoria I think had like 2-3 days? That wasn't fair and enough days. Put them in on a Friday and let them get to the following Friday for the next eviction.

Didnt realise the first two series evictions were so late in the series

Shabnam was also evicted 2 weeks in- the first eviction was cancelled because that girl got thrown out.

Yes, the Lynne vs Jade vote was a twist, the BB4 1st night noms was a twist, and the Bedsit twist was supposed to be in week 1 (Kitten's expulsion delayed it).

Since then a week 1 eviction has become the norm. A shame as we have so little time to get to know the evictee.

Back to basics for me.

back to basics house no fancy fixtures and fittings only single beds, back to basic rules and tasks, solid rules and fixed punishments for rules breaking and no gimmicks.
