Madonna at the Met gala, although I appreciate why she wore this outfit, I don't like it.

What do other people think of it?

As mentioned everywhere else by mois i LOVE it...the echoes to her past...LaP crucifixes, fisnet tights of her FIrst Album/Virgin era her jet black wig evoking her previous stems out with dark hair look (LAP/NRM/AL) and echoes to Bettie Page, Patti Smith....her musical and image influences...and the fact that she pretty much owned it on so many levels...would be interesting if she stemmed out into more Punkish looks i nthe future.

As ever Madonna owns it, shoves ones tongue in ones cheek and gets people talking and kept entertained

Better than I expected but I prefer Beyonce and Katy Perry surprisingly.

I've seen her in worse. The wig was great.

not sure if that is a compliment, but its not much of a stretch really. they both are around the same age, both successful business women and hillary obviously sees the comparison herself.

i think she looked great and as per usual, she caused a stir, but thats madonna.

Credit to her for daring to embrace the punk theme of the event because pretty much everyone else played it safe

I also thought she looked amazing.

It's interesting how all her haters constantly refer to her now as 'Granny' - she's 54 and her oldest biological child is 16 years old. That aside, I would love my Grandma to look like that and to be a billionaire.

She can't win. If she dressed like an old lady then they would call her a granny anyway so she's damned if she does and damned if she doesn't

She looked amazing. I feel like her and Sarah Jessica Parker were the only ones there who took the theme seriously.

She looked good. I loved the pictures of her with Beyonce and Katy Perry. It's probably a bit of a weird interest but I love occasionally looking up pictures of famous people photographed together.

I'm warming to it. She suits the hair and it's nice to see she actually paid attention to the theme. It's annoying that so many of the "worst dressed" were folk who actually tried punk elements and the best dressed were just generic red carpet looks.

The crucifix is unfortunately placed though. Looks like it's hanging on a tampon string.

Yeah, I agree black boots would have really made the outfit better.

I love the dangling crucifix though, very Madonna!
