If we're going purely on intellectual prowess, Leah has to be in with a shout - she's a medical doctor, after all, and one doesn't get into medical school with money or looks.

Rebecca also seems competent....

OTOH, it all depends on who has the most viable business plan - something which we, sadly, are not really privy to, yet... I have a sneaking suspicion you could totally screw up all the tasks and, provided you had a patentable invention and a viable business plan, sail on to win...

Not sure where this dynamic has been seen previously...

The guy Tim who seemed to be on coke or something like that. Doubt he will go far but I almost want to hug him for some reason.
Tim reminds me of a young Michael Gove

Leah's got Luisa's number. She and Rebecca are my favourites at the moment.

Myles, Kurt, Sophie and Rebecca seem pretty competent. At the moment anyway!

Jason.

When Alex was being rather brash and aggressive in his manner in the car and Jason replied cooly with 'are you overpowering me?' or something along those line... Alex had no idea how to reply and had to resort to insults. It's not that I had anything against Alex from the start but Jason did reveal Alex to have very little substance in this instance. Still not sure whether Jason's decision to lower the price was for the sake of his own ethical reasoning or maybe he was trying to rub the others up the wrong way just to spite them. Either way, it only seems to make me like him more.

I still can't tell anything about Myles, except that he's very easy on the eye. Kurt had no control of his sub team, who were an absolute shambles, and I didn't notice him at all in last night's ep. Hardly noticed him tonight either, despite being team leader, as all the drama was with the sub team. May not be his fault, it could be the edit. I like Sophie but sorry to see her seeming to align herself with Luisa to try and stitch up Rebecca. Luisa is a snake in the grass and she will take some better candidates down with her. Natalie - if I went by the edit, I'd be tempted to quote Suralan; "Nice girl, dun do much."

Hopefully Natalie, Kurt and Myles are being deliberately edited into the background only to show themselves as strong contenders at a later stage.

I'd love to see Sophie do well; really liking her. I don't think we've seen enough yet to say what her chances are. And that's the same with most of hem.

Already, however, I think we can rule out Jason (clearly an idiot of epic proportions) and Luisa (Sugar sometimes takes while, but he always sees through the toxic individuals eventually).

Really enjoying Zee, he's very smart, knows how to get a good deal, doesn't suffer fools. He was completely correct in lambasting Jason for ruining his deal

He's my pick to go all the way

Out of the women, the refuses-to- be -bullied Rebecca is definitely the strongest

Jordan is already my favourite. I also like Rebecca, Kurt, Leah and for comedy value alone, Zee and Alex. I was liking Sophie until I realised she doesn't have a backbone. She'll be gone soon.

I do not like Myles. I know his sort too well as there are loads like him in my profession. Nice, charming, clever and savvy, but can be pretty unethical and shallow.

Shallow moment: Uzma's vivid blue eye contacts drive me nuts. Too distracting. Terrible colour choice. She should have gone for a softer shade of blue.

He knows how to get a deal, but he cant keep his cool. When Jason said they would do the deal for £75 (which was totally stupid of him). Zee turned to the customer and said something along the lines of "dont listen to him hes an idiot". That for me was out of line. The way Zee set upon Jason was also wrong. They should have explained to him in a clam manner, yet he went of on one. I can see him doing the same in the boardroom, when his team lose. Cant see Sugar putting up with it.

If he can keep his calm he may well go far.

Fair points, but I don't know how many people could keep their cool in the face of such idiocy, money-losing stupidity

Granted its not easy to keep calm. However I know in the past Sugar has let people go as they couldnt keep calm and/or couldnt get their point across in a calm manner. I think Zee will be one of these people. If he can keep calm, in the boardroom at least he should be ok, I just dont think he can. Time will tell.

Jordan. I loved his "we're not in competition we're a team" outburst the first task, and he seems able to get a job done, and be friendly with the public task 2.

Only thing though is he reminds me a loooot of that nice guy that ran the glasses online, that got totally screwed by his team finding things for the posh hotel (ergh I can't remb his name). I wonder did Jordan get his glasses from him?

Also Zee may be a gem, he's quick and I liked how he didn't get in a strop when asked to go do the beer, he made his point calmly then went to get the job done.

Gavin?

Jordan is my fave too, though I fear the more tasks he wins the more he's going to bruise his teammates shoulders celebrating in the boardroom. Whoever sits infront of him is going to need shoulder pads.

Yeah Gavin, thanks.

I fear Jordan may suffer the same fate, he's nice and people like Neil will totally ignore him when he becomes PM in order to take him out.

Tom Pellereau was nice and wasn't very effective (IMO) so I wouldn't rule Jordan out on that basis.

I'm feeling a losing finalist vibe from him right now, though. We'll see.

Alex. And Leah. And Rebecca. Mostly Leah, I think.

I think everyone's going to be impressed with Leah, though. Alex is probably going to be more polarising, and I quite like backing a less obvious horse.

True, but Tom played a good game, never being responsible for the fail, and having the power of Captain Hindsight to talk himself out of firing.

Jordan atm seems to be someone that will take responsibility for a fail and that may be his downfall. I think he'll be the first "with regret" moment of the series, and I'll be here saying how his biggest mistake was bringing back Neil and Neil Jnr (Kurt).
