About to purchase the Nexus 4...
But have one or two questions.
Firstly, do you have to play all your music in soundcloud? I'd rather have most of my music library on the phone itself. Secondly (and sorry for what might be a stupid question here), I understand the Nexus 4 is unlocked, so I can just take out my O2 3GS sim card and pop it straight into the new phone? |

Answer to your first question, is no you do not have to use the cloud for your music. You can store part or all of your music on the phone, the choice is yours.
If you are buying the Nexus 4 direct from Google, then yes it is unlocked and can be used on any network. The problem you may face is that your sim may be to big to fit in the Nexus. You may need to get O2 to send you a replacement sim. |

1. Up to you how you store your music - put it on the phone, have it in Google Play Music and stream it, or stream it from elsewhere. Not sure where you got SoundCloud from in connection with the Nexus though?
2. N4 uses a micro SIM, so if your current phone uses a standard one then you'll either need to cut it down (what I did, piece of cake) or get O2 to replace your current one with a micro. |

Thanks, very helpful. I've had a look online and it would appear that the 3GS uses the standard sized sim cards, so I'll look into that.
I'm pretty excited about owning my first Android phone ![]() *edit* I'm not sure where I got "SoundCloud" from, so ignore that. |

Well worth the small amount of money they are asking for them , and excellent service from Google as well , mine was delivered the day after I ordered it , I have had one small problem and a replacement was sent out the day after I contacted them , wouldn't hesitate to buy another

Good choice, the N4 is a great phone for the price you are paying.

Which is what I said. You are paying a price for the hardware you buy and what you get for what you are paying, makes it a great purchase,
You got some issues with comprehension or what?? ![]() |

You got some issues with comprehension or what?? ![]() it's very clear what you meant - 'Good choice, the N4 is a great phone for the price you are paying.' - you meant it was a great phone for the price. finbaar was removing the caveat of - 'for the price you are paying.' - and saying it is a great phone full stop. whether or not you got that or failed to comprehend it i don't know. but there is no need for the personal insults. it is not acceptable on this board. |

i think the point he was making was is that it's a great phone regardless of the price.
So my point is, you couldn't get better for the same money. |

It's a great phone for the price! ffs! whats wrong with that?! You could pay £200 more and buy an Iphone which isn't that great for the money you are paying.
So my point is, you couldn't get better for the same money. |

no-one is arguing with you..... simply saying it's a great phone FULL STOP. the price is secondary to the fact that it's a great phone.
So for what you are paying for a N4, it's the best choice around. Calling something great fullstop, well, that's a matter of preference, because we all have different requirements. The N4 camera for example is not the best, i like to take pics and record video, for me, it is not GREAT fullstop, but I can't argue, that for the money it is a great phone. |

No it isn't because price is a factor, unless you are filthy rich, if you cant afford something, then you dont buy its as simple as that.
