...for those who want the totally bleached out look.

Here, Uzma demonstrates how to make onesself look like Rita Ora:

Also, Uzma makes herself look like Kim Kardashian:

Great tips on showing ethnic women how to look white (and failing!) Crikey!

(sorry if posted already!)

Jesus, I did not know that but on tonight's episode it showed a close up of her and I thought her make up looked awful

Well when I read the caption 'Uzma Yakoob, make-up manufacturer' I thought someone was having a laugh!

She does look as if she uses skin lightening products. I don't feel qualified to criticise her for that, as it's easy for me as a white person to say patronisingly how sad it is that people feel the need to do that. I can only say I don't like the look.

The foundation she wears is far too light for her skin tone, the hair colour is too blonde, a light-medium brown hair would suit her better and she also appears to be wearing blue coloured contact lenses as presumably her natural eye colour would be brown.

She does seem to be quite embarrassed by her heritage.

What a utterly ridiculous thing to say. How do you come up with this rubbish? By your logic all 'white' people that get a suntan are also embarrassed by their heritage. As they want to change the colour of their skin.

I agree with others, her makeup is way over the top. Then again that could be said for most if not all of the woman on the show.

Eep. I had guessed her business plan might involve hair styles or wigs, but make-up? She isn't a good advertisement.

Yeah. Although there are Asian people with natural blue, hazel or green eyes, hers are certainly brown. That shade of blue is far too harsh for her.

Well I get the impression Uzma is trying to look as white as possible. Come on, it's pretty obvious!

She could try using some colours that actually suit her rather than colours that make her look ridiculous.

The other women use colours that suit them. Uzma does not, and therefore looks ridiculous.

Its very strange isn't it? She's obviously a natural brunette with brown eyes. She could look pretty with a more natural look.

Other than the strange makeup, I quite like her so far.

She may look better with her natural hair colour but there are far better looking Asian girls out there

I agree that her makeup looks awful and its way over the top. She really needs to tone it down. I said as much in the post you quoted.

However the poster that I replied to suggested she was doing it because she was embarrassed by her heritage, which is what I took umbridge with. They have no idea if she does or doesnt. It was a very stupid thing to say and an equally ridiculous conclusion to jump to.

The thing is, she could actually be very attractive if she just completely changed her make-up. And her hair. And her clothes.

I thought maybe Bangladeshi, though I am just guessing. It did throw me at very first glance though, I couldn't work out if she was Greek or what...

She could be Bangladeshi but I think she is more of Pakistani heritage - definitely not Greek (maybe used the yogurt for the facial cream)

I think she uses Ski yoghurt as moisturiser.

I wonder if her business plan has anything to do with makeup? She seems to be passionate about it.

There is already a Greek girl on the show

She seems to be trying to make herself look like Pamela Anderson, despite the fact she's Asian. What's wrong with having dark skin and dark eyes, plenty of girls would love that?

It's a shame she looks so weird, as she has come across as very level headed, and strong in the face of other people being ridiculous. I hope she finds the courage to calm down the make-up and be herself in looks as much as she seems to be in personality.

On the flip side there are a lot of white girls who fake tan beyond an orange colour to the point of looking brown and dye their blonde hair black. Just like there are a lot of girls with darker skin who lighten it with make up or bleaching and die their hair blonde and have blue contacts like Nicki Minaj

I thought her make-up looked very unnatural before I knew anything about this channel.
