Vodafone contract ending soon
K-M

Hi all

My contract with vodafone is about to end and I currently pay £17.50 a month for 900 off peak minutes and 50 texts.

I am considering switching networks to get a better deal as what I am currently getting is nothing short of a rip off. Three currently have a good deal for £2.99 a month (via cashback) for 500 xnet mins and 100 texts.
Either I switch network or see what vodafone will offer me.

My questions are:

what have people been offered to stay on at vodafone (would also like to know what their handset updgrade prices are like too)

and

what does everyone think of this cashback scheme offered by three, surely theres something off about that?

thanks in advance guys

Cashback scheme.. nothing off about it at all (it works!). It isn't run by Three either, its run by the retailer, who are the promoter.

Having said that, 3 are currently offering their own additional 3 months free line rental offer, directly off your bill. Phones4 u are offering £135 cashback on 3 tarrifs with the Talk and Text 600 (Motorola E1000), plus the £45 3 offer.

DO NOT STAY WITH VODAFONE! Im currently a vodafone customer... have about three months remaining on my contract. My Samsung E710 had a fault in it so they rxchanged it for a new one... then that had the same fault in it too..... so i took it back and they give me a loan phone to send it off to be repaired... when i got my samsung e710 back... i took it home and guess what... they hadnt fixed it atall!!! So i took it back and have had to have ANOTHER loan phone Nokia 3410... when im paying 25 pound a month for 100 mins and 50 texts!!1 CRAP CUSTOMER SERVICE... CRAP NETWORK.... EXTORTIONATE PRICES!!!
Il be going to three when my times up!
