So happy for Joe he seemed so genuinely suprised he just sang for her. It's so weird as it's been a dream for him to sing with her.

I love the way Beyonce said "You sound beautiful" to him.

I do agree with this.......Olly Murs has more charm though
(thought I might mention that little fact) Wonder if she will pen a tune for the both if them to sing now????

I am fairly certain he did not sing with her whatsoever. He did went 'ba da ba da' down the microphone a few times, got a good response and that was it.

Not to take anything away from him, great moment for him to be picked out, but there is no need for exaggeration.

There's also no need for pessimism!

Very happy for Joe, good on him. He's always seemed like a really nice guy so it's nice to hear that he got to realise one of his dreams.

What did he sing? I didn't hear him sing anything.

I'm glad he got the opportunity to do this. People don't realize how good he is.

I agree with you Dreammaster. Some people post without making sure they aren't writing rubbish. However, I know I have probably done it myself in the past!

The post you quoted was a case in point. Beyonce is hardly a flop and as for Joe, he is writing his FIFTH album which doesn't constitute a flop. He is off to the US in June to Pittsburgh Pride in the Streets, having been asked by Adam Lambert to join him!

I was surprised when I clicked on the link as i thought it would be a duet from the thread title. Although I know Joe has a great voice which is usually on point I couldn't really hear him on this clip so surprised why everyone is raving about it But if she is his idol then great stuff but let's not get carried away.

I don't think anyone is getting carried away. For Joe's fans, it was a great moment for him, personally, which is what made us happy. Whether you or anyone else can hear him singing is beside the point - Beyonce did and you can tell from her reaction she was impressed.

Why do people have to be so mean spirited

I don't think I was. Perhaps if the thread title had explained it better I wouldn't have expected a duet with Beyonce when I clicked on the link.

What I think quite amazing is that there's still media interest days later!

http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=6RZtUtRN6XI

Think that goes to show Beyonce's popularity is hardly on the wane for a start

As other fans have said, it's not so much fans that have made such a big deal of this but the media. We're just delighted for Joe that one of his dreams came true unexpectedly (& there's no question it caught him by surprise, whether or not Beyonce knew about him beforehand, though her own shock at his voice makes me think she didn't) even if it was a very short & sweet moment

On some clips you can't hear his voice as clearly, it's true but there are others where it's as clear as a bell. Just a few notes but he still sounds great! It's as much Beyonce's reaction that's gratifying to see as being about the few notes he did sing - that will be an unforgettable moment for Joe. he's a genuinely lovely & humble guy & totally deserved it

Wish you would read my posts properly. It said 'beginning to flop' - Evidence: last album sales and singles sales a fraction of previous album with not as good reviews. 'Run The World' was a terrible attempt at Euro Dance Music - in my opinion. I rest my case.

I think it would be better if you hadn't said anything, Michelle32. You are never going to win with Beyonce's over 7 million followers!

I don't know a thing about Beyonce's career, but she seems like a very big pop star to me, and Joe was thrilled.

It's all good.

Why do people want to find a negative where there is none?

Shout out to @joemcelderry91 who made the whole arena stop & listen when he blessed the mic during "Love On Top". http://www.keek.com/!IwCZbab [/i]

For those that maybe don't follow Joe closely you won't know how much this will mean to Joe - he is a huge fan of Beyonce's - and for Beyonce to be so impressed with his voice was a great moment. ”

This tweet is stuck in my head!

Exactly what a moment for Joe - to have adored her for soooo long and then this happens!!

When you say 'latest', do you mean his last (4th) album or does he have a new one out I don't know about

I bought albums 2, 3 and 4

Joe has four albums out and is currently writing songs for his fifth album (in between singing with Beyonce, Dionne Warwick, Adam Lambert and the Royal Mail Choir)! Who said he was a flop?

3 million copies sold isn't bad at all for an album which was hardly promoted and without a tour due to her pregnancy vs inauguration, superbowl, sold out tour selling in minutes everywhere without a single or an album, when Rihanna still can't sell out her tour which has been on sale for months to this day. Flop?!!!

+ Beyonce's last album had the best critical acclaim from all her previous albums

How can someone buy the 'next' album? This means it hasn't been released!!
