I can't stand sauce of any kind. Something about the consistency of it creeps me out, so every bit of food I have is dry and ''tasteless'' according to some

For example, plain pasta with a separate bowl of grated cheese so I can wait for the pasta to cool a bit and thus stop the cheese from melting.
Ordering from takeaways/restaurants or trying to buy sandwiches is an absolute nightmare, since everything seems to be smothered in sauce (even if it doesn't say so on the label, and even if I specifically say ''without sauce, please.''
I tend to avoid restaurants since there's always that horrible moment where I look at a menu and realise that there isn't a single thing on the menu which I like aside from things on the kids menu
(There's only one exception to my fear of sauce, and that's those pasta shapes in tomato sauce you get in a tin. Y'know, the ones for kids in the shape of cartoon characters

No idea why I can eat that, yet can't have a burger with tomato sauce on. -shrugs-)
