I get headaches in the morning if I hsve to many carbhydrates like bread and things

thats why I have protein in the evening with bacon egg and fish

I will get some greens today though and mix them in with my scrambled egg later

maybe if I put brocolli and spinach and beans in the blender raw and the mix the juices with the scrambled egg mix

I thought drinking my wee was healthy to flush toxins and impurities but if it doesnt I might not bother now perhsps some green teabag when I shop instead

Not that healthy but not going to kill you either. You need vegetables and more fruit. Bacon and white bread aren't good and I'm not sure about the type of porridge or turkey (high in sugar, salt, is it processed etc) you have but they might be pretty unhealthy too. The only good things you listed are the apple, banana, salad and eggs (eggs aren't good every day though).

Occasional mushrooms don't cover the veg... tomato is a fruit. You'd be better off with at least 5 servings every day.

I keep seeing people say when you should eat egg, some say avoid it in the morning and now you say have it for breakfast. I'm confused Does it make a difference?

If you are saying this for cholesterol reasons then this has now become a myth.

Dietary cholesterol isn't anywhere near as dangerous as was once thought. Only some of the cholesterol (in food) winds up as cholesterol in the bloodstream. If your dietary cholesterol intake does rise then your body will compensate for this by producing less cholesterol of its own.

From the NHS: "The cholesterol found in food has much less effect on the level of cholesterol in your blood than the amount of saturated fat that you eat."

I've been eating 2 eggs a day for the last 15 years and my cholesterol (albeit 6 months ago or so) was fine.

As usual misinformed crap being posted on here. There is nothing wrong with eating eggs every day, so long as you're not having 5 at a time.

5 is only one or two off the average amount... and some people who love eggs do actually eat that much. One or two a day should be fine though.

Then, I'm no expert, so obviously I'm going to repeat what we've always been told... We can't always research everything in depth, sometimes we have to take things at face value.

I think eggs are perhaps most nutritious part of the OP's diet, outside the fruit at least, so I wouldn't be worrying about consuming too many of those. As has been said, the cholesterol content of the eggs themselves has little effect on blood cholesterol. Eggs provide a large array of nutrients, are a good source of protein, a good source of fats and aren't too high in calories. They really are pretty close to being a "super food".

How can drinking urine detox you? Urine is a waste product, why would putting that back into your body be good for you?

Im genuinely curious as to the (pseudo)science behind this

The official advice now is that there is no limit at all on the number of eggs most people can eat: http://www.bhf.org.uk/heart-health/c...olesterol.aspx So most people could even eat five a day if they wanted.

It doesn't require research, it's been a well publicised fact for years now. Even 5 eggs a day would do zero damage, though the only person I know who eats that quantity is a body builder and he only eats the yolk of one of them.

Ugh, don't do that, unless you like watery green eggs! Why can't you just steam the veg and eat it along with your eggs? Is it because you just don't like veg? Have you tried making fresh fruit and veg juice? I'm not keen on a lot of vegetables myself, so I invested in a juicer to try to get a few more in. You can mix the veg with fruits, to make it more palatable for you. There are loads of juice recipes on the net.

I thought eggs bind you, give you constipaton.

Not that healthy but still you can still get some good nutrients from it, it would be better to minimize bacon though tea is a good drink. Consider more vegetables.

Not really, that seems to be an old wives' tale.
Quote:
“‘Any high-fat, low-fibre food such as boiled eggs could contribute to constipation, but you would have to eat an awful lot to make you constipated,’ says GP Rob Hicks. A lack of fibre and fluid in your diet, too much stress and not answering nature’s call are more common causes of constipation.”

http://www.saga.co.uk/health/wellbei...ut-health.aspx

In the OP's case, with the porridge, banana, sandwich roll and apple, there's not likely to be a shortage of fibre to keep things moving. Eggs don't provide fibre but as long as they're not the only thing you're eating, it shouldn't be much of a problem.

They meant tea as in the evening meal not the drink

I wouldn't eat bacon every day.

You need far more vegetables - leafy and green ones in particular, like spinach, asparagus, broccoli, salad.

Have fish then. Fish and green vegetables, cooked with herbs and good seasoning.

Carbs = virtually zero

It's also what you get when a surfeit of eggs gives you constipation.
An old wives' tale perhaps, but eggs are very dense and packed with protein, so perhaps there's something in it.
