iPhone 5 iMessage
Hi
Has anyone had a problem regarding their iMessage? My ip5 states waiting for activation when I turn it on, has been since 5pm yest. I've turned phone off & on - also reset the network settings. I don't want to do a factory reset unless its the last chance saloon! Can anyone help? Thanks in advance |

Try a hard reset (power + home) - this doesn't lose anything
Thanks |

You could try turning iMessage off then removing the phone from the Apple Support Profile of all Apple ID's it may have ever been associated with (need to login with each AppleID separately). Wait a couple of minutes then activate iMessage again. This has helped me in the past.

On the subject of iMessage, has anyone noticed that text messages are not being sent as iMessages at the moment (i.e. they are displaying as green instead of blue). This is the case of my phone and also my granddaughter's phone. Is this a generic problem ?
