Thusfar it appears as if at least 3-4 of them have a passion for cosmetic surgery.

Not neccessarily. The number of years in training depends on the speciality and job availability. Historically, surgeons were barbers with no medical qualifications, hence they do not carry the doctor title. Once doctors gain their surgical qualifications, they drop the title of doctor.
Not correct, medical consultants are known as doctors. Surgeons are known by miss/mr etc. We no longer follow the junior house office path of 6 months in medicine and 6 months in general sugery. After graduation, we become Foundation doctors. This is a programme of 2 years to include at least 3 months medicine and 3 months of general surgery. After completing this we can choose to specialise. A clinical fellow is a doctor or surgeon who undertakes both clnical work and research.

As above... Surgeons become Mr or Miss once they pass their MRCS Part B exam. They don't have to be a consultant to do this. In fact it's a requirement of progression to ST3 that this qualification be gained... Surgeons also don't like medics (I think the feeling in mutual) so they try and use Mr or Miss as much as possible in hospital
And Leah qualified in 2011 so she's FY1 or FY2 at most... Cosmetic surgery is WAY beyond her.

Yeah - you get the Mr back once you progress to surgeon.
At uni I hung out with a few medics and dentists. Plenty of ribbing both ways. One point the dentists made is that they technically qualified as dental surgeons - so would be "Mr" when they graduated. 10 years on, I notice a lot of dentists now use "Dr" (as they are entitled to do) because the ignorant public assumed the lack of title meant they qualified at the local college.
Some people don't deserve help - the general 'proud to be ignorant and don't I love X Factor' public I mean
The whole Doctor, Mister business in the medical profession is daft.
The general public respect the title Dr and ALL medically qualified people should use this title because every Tom, Dick and Harry is entitled to be called Mr.

It wasn't that simple and its perfectly possible to drop maths as soon as possible and still be highly educated.
Its a bit odd that nothing is on offer on education, but that may be so he can dispose of people without looking as if its because of their education - or just because no one bothered.

And elsewhere a simple search reveals Jason is listed still as graduate student in the Hellenic studies department of Kings College London doing a PhD, after a history degree at Oxford and an MA at Kings. .

Medics. Or even quacks. They need to sort their house out so that only people with doctoral level qualifications can call themselves doctor. The backwards hierarchy thing is way past its sell-by date.

Yep - can't work out ratios i.e if you put 5ml into 1 litre, how much do you need to put into 20 litre;can't work out that a flag measuring 6 foot by 4 foot can'y really be put in your pocket. But then it is reality TV. I enjoyed the first BB. Still having a laugh at the jungle and losing interest in Apprentice now. It is what it is.
