In the Prequel and the new trailer for next week, Clara said 'I was born to save the Doctor.'

Wasn't River Song 'Born to kill the Doctor'?

Connections?

In the Doctor's section it looks like 9's head on the table in the background..

But I really don't know, I'm so confused. He did mention her being 'too perfect' though, which kinda links with the whole 'born to save the Doctor' thing.

And also, in the trailer, it showed some kind of yellow energy around Clara? Regeneration or Bad Wolf?

And in the Prequel, what was with all the props being reused in the background? Are they important?

More questions than answers again.

I've thought from the first time we saw Clara / Oswald that there were a lot of cross-overs with River and not long ago somebody found:

Well Moffat hid all the really 'romantic' stuff in the prequel, didn't he? Seriously though, they're obviously pretty enamoured of each other.

This and the trailers make it pretty obvious now that the leaks about who Clara was/is that came out weeks ago are absolutely right.

What struck me, was the way The Doctor said (the gist of):

"She's always been, what I've needed her to be"

Reminded me of how the Tardis always takes The Doctor wherever he needs to be.

I wonder if there will be a "Ghost" moment.
Spoiler
If she was kind enough she could give 11 and his wife a moment. Neighbours did a version of it. Sky lost her husband Scott but they shared their final momet before he "moved on". Also what song was playing in the backround ?."Unchained Melody" by the righteous brothers. River "I'll love you forever sweetie"
11 "Ditto" Whatever happens I will expect there will a lot of tears and shouts of "We should have figured that out years ago!" .

I'm sure the Doctor and River will have some kind of interaction in the finale, with or without Clara helping them.

In 'She said, he said', they both mention "They day we went to Trenzalore". So it is set after 'The name of the Doctor", yes?

What exactly is this extra show then?

Extra show: set after & shown after original = sequel
Extra show: set before & shown after original = prequel
Extra show: set before & shown before original = prologue
Extra show: set after & shown before original = spreequellogue?

Please don't let it be Rose and alternative 10's daughter as Rose has nothing to do with 11 but with Rosť in the 50th I find this a bit worrying. Also don't let her be a reconfiguration of River either just let her be her own strange individual character who may or not be split throughout time and space.

I rather liked Clara's side of the short; how little she knows about the Doctor because wouldn't you think it would be the sensible thing to ask about this strange man if you decide to travel with him?

But why would you? You just don't think about it because you get to see the past, the future, alien planets, fight monsters, save entire worlds, and become exposed to so many things that it just sort of slips your mind because it just sort of becomes one more thing in a vast universe of wonders that you don't know about.

I mean, really, how much do any of his companions knew about him? In the end, how well do they really know this man? Even River, who I feel knows the most about the Doctor than anyone, likely knows not much at all.

"Doctor who" indeed.

I think the correct nomenclature is epiloprequelogue.
