I have quickly searched the phone forums on here but cannot find much about this problem.
I have also searched on the internet trailing through forums and trying ALL the suggestions to try and unlock this damm thing,it refuses to switch back on.
I have pressed and held volume down and camera button i have pulled the charger in and out of a 13amp socket and usb connection to a laptop.Zune can't find it, it cannot update.
I can press power till i am blue in the face it stays dead.
Before i send it off to Nokia,i have checked Nokia forum too,i have tried to warm it up. it went off in my handbag so i cant remember if the power was low or not. I know you aren't supposed to let it run down completely.
I know Nokia are going to say deep discharge or something?

Its just i was going to update and download the memory as i have some precious photos i need to get off it.i cannot send it back if i cannot get those pictures off first,i cant let them format it without getting my pictures back.
I am desperate PLEASE PLEASE can someone help me.

My first one did that after only a couple of months. It couldn't be fixed so I was given a brand new handset. This one has now been working perfectly for a year. Your pictures should be stored in Skydrive if you have your phone set to automatically upload. I would check to see if they are there.

The last thing to try is leave it in the charger for several hours and see if it turns on. If it doesn't, you have to send it back to Nokia and rely on the Skydrive backup of your pics (if you had that option on).

Something similar happened to my first Lumia after the very first phone call I think it was a problem with a proximity sensor, display went black as it should when putting the phone to my ear but it did not come back after. I sent it back, but I managed to make it work just before that and retrieve/delete anything I wanted to. After a few hours of letting it alone I kept on/off button pressed for a minute or so and it restarted.
