Freeware avi to DVD converter required
Hi, I'm looking for a free avi to DVD converter.
I've tried a few but they're useless. The finished DVD won't play in a standard DVD player. ![]() Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Just be careful of any other things they try to get you to install and always choose 'Custom' (unticking the options) and not 'Recommended' installation |

freemake is a decent product.
it's kind of idiot proof. the price you pay for that though is it's not very customisable. definitely works though. |

DeVeDe is pretty much idiotproof although it only creates an image, which can be burned with any burning app which takes your fancy.

Another vote for freemake, I use it regularly and haven't had any problems.
