So I just bought this unit and now Ive gone back to the shop for the HDMI cable it doesnt come with for some reason, we are getting somewhere. However...

The first problem is the weak reception on HD channels. One of the main points of my buying the box, other than the fact the old PVR was on its arse, was for HD. Why is the reception so bad? Is it a geographical thing? Is it my aerial?

The other issue is that of iPlayer. I get the internet connected, it updates, all good stuff and then attempt to use iPlayer. The error message comes back "sorry we do not support your device". But...but...you're ON the device! Thats a bit of false hope! How does that work?

In short...help!!

The HD seems ok now. I think it was because I had it set to East Midlands when my stronger signal is West Midlands. Despite living in Derby. I hope thats it anyway.

iPlayer issue still stands.
