Name some please.

I'm doing a quiz and plan on using stills from iconic pop videos and am putting this one out to the membership because what I think my be get table in a quiz may well prove impossible to others.

It helps if its on YouTube too

Iconic? The two that spring immediately to mind are

Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody

Buggles - Video Killed The Radio Star

Yep, iconic in a sense that someone who might only have a slight interest might know one from a still.

As suggested with Faith by George Michael, his legs against the jukebox would be a great example.

The Cure made some great ones that you could probably describe as iconic, especially:

Lullaby http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijxk-fgcg7c

Yes, it isn't the same as 'what's your favourite video by your favourite artist'

Can you explain?
Which videos mentioned aren't iconic?

I've used Take on Me but Thriller might be a bit too obvious.

I'd say both were iconic. Especially Thriller tbh.

Without saying what they are, how many of these five would you all get right?

I wouldn't say either of the Madonna ones were considering what else she's done. I want to do a PSB one, failed miserably to get a decent still from What have I done to deserve this.

Well I think they're iconic,especially Vogue.

Sledgehammer's iconic imo as well.

You wanted us to name iconic pop videos so I did but it's not my fault if you don't agree is it?
