Why are Bagels so hot?
You toast bread and you just take it out with your fingers - toast a bagel and you need oven gloves!

Its pitta breads that are hotter than the sun when they come out of the toaster!

Bagels and pitta more dense so the heat builds up and is contained more as it toasts?

Yes they are hotter but I find they usually cool down quicker.
