Agents of SHIELD will of course be on my to-watch list, but The Blacklist looks like something I'll eat up with much gusto

Agents of SHIELD and The Blacklist do look good.
I'll also give the new Sean Hayes sitcom a go, even if it's just because I loved him in Will and Grace.

I adore Mary McCormack but Welcome to the Family looks terrible. Do we really need a comedy about Latino-White relationships in 2013?

The Blacklist looks like a winner though.

The Blacklist looks absolutely fantastic! James Spader excels in the role he plays. One show i will definetely watch. Hope it gets picked up in the UK.

Yes, an interesting piece of casting since he is so well known for his comedy roles. It didn't look like him at first but his voice is instantly recognisable.

Soon you shall learn the art of, when watching a trailer, quickly identifying something as a "fkyeah I'ma gonna wann see this" thing and do a lightningly fast hitting-the-pause-button maneuver.

Can't wait for MJF, looks brilliant. Want to see About a Boy trailer now too, only two new comedies I'm excited about now Super Clyde didn't make it

Dracula and Blacklist also look good, don't know if I'll get round to watching them though

Very true! The 4min trailer basically gave away the whole pilot episode!

I suppose the important question is.... how many of these shows will be cancelled after the first season??

I think I read somewhere that 70% of all new shows don't return for a second season.

It's very rare for a show that's cancelled after one season to be given enough warning to enable the writers to wrap up any ongoing storylines by season's end.

The only example I can think of is Last Resort

If a British gets the rights to show a series that has already been cancelled in the US I don't bother to watch it

and then you have shows like Smash where ratings decrease week to week but the network can't cancel it because it's their "pet project" and decide to do some major retooling. The show still gets cancelled with hopefully a satisfying ending.

Look out Revolution....

You've never seen Crash, Secretary or Sex, Lies & Videotape, have you?

The trailer for The Michael J. Fox Show looks really good, and I can see why they placed it at 9.30 instead of 9 now because it really fits with Parenthood so it should hopefully give it a good lead in.

Sean Saves The World, however, looks awful and a waste of Sean Hayes. Welcome to The Family looks terrible as well.

Yes and many people are predictiing that it will follow in the footsteps of "Smash" demise. Pity renewal for a season 2, ratings continuing to decrease week after week until it's finally cancelled.

Looks promising but I just hope that it doesn't rule MJF out from making his occasional guest star appearance on The Good Wife.
