New Summer Drinks
Carling Zest with a hint of ginger, Fosters Radler, Carlsberg Citrus, Carling Cider, Bulmers Bold Black Cherry and Bulmers Pressed Red Grape. Which of these have you tried and which has left a lasting Impression on you? Really enjoyed the Bulmers Black Cherry - The surprise winner for me! Also Carling Cider tasted much better than I thought it would be. Fosters Radler disappointed me, was too much like drinking bitter lemon although it did refresh the taste buds (not something I'd rush to buy again in a hurry though)

I want to try Carling cider but can't see it anywhere here, off-licence or supermarket. Is it like Strongbow or Magners?

I really liked the Bulmers Black Cherry I,d buy that again, I wasnt keen on the Carlsberg Citrus but it wasnt very cold so that could have been why, still have 1 in the fridge to try. The Fosters Radler was very nice and refreshing tasted like proper lemonade, I,d but this if it was on offer it,d be good for afternoon bbq,s ... if we ever get a summer

I fancy trying the Fosters Radler. Sounds like a nice cloudy lemonade shandy!

Fosters Radler was ok but I'd recommend it ice cold, any warmer and it would be vile.
Tastes like Hooch with a touch of Fosters mixed in. |

Fosters Radler is quite nice cold chilling out in the garden. I don't like beer but that's quite refreshing.
And I tried bulmers cherry that was nice aswell, could only have 1/2 bottles though |

Apparently a new Pimms - blackberry and elderflower was introduced last month.
I'm planning to try it if we we ever get a warm summer's evening - or even a warm summer's afternoon. |

In which case, why not just drink Hooch?

I'm not a lager lover but I fancy trying the Fosters Radler. I enjoy a fruit cider, tried both Bulmers. Also enjoyed Mango and Raspberry Rekorderling and tropical Gaymers

I had a Peach & Apricot Rekorderlig on Monday, it was lovely. They have a passionfruit one on their website too, not seen that anywhere yet

Slightly off-topic because it's not exactly 'new' but has anyone tried St.Helier pear cider? Probably my favourite drink when the weather gets really hot. Nice mellow taste; not overly sweet. Also like the Kopparberg strawberry and lime on a hot day but can't manage more than about 2 before they become too sweet. Annoyingly, not many places seem to sell the St.Helier anymore though I've noticed. Even the supermarkets stopped doing it..guess it wasn't that popular? Anyway, might give this Rekorderlig a go. Not tried it yet.
