Anyone using these?

Inside the box there's a code, which you enter on a page on the Dr Oetker website. This allows you to print off seven vouchers, which can only be used by the person named on them. There's no limit on how many codes you can use. I've been printing mine using my mono. laser printer.

So far I've used two......

1) Sainsbury's. The check-out operator was dubious, but the voucher scanned okay.

2) Morrisons. Self-service checkout. Voucher wouldn't scan. I ended up having a lengthy conversation with a supervisor, who reckoned they'd had a lot of trouble with photocopied vouchers, and that my voucher looked like a photocopy. I had to explain how I'd printed it, and I showed them my driving licence (my name is on the coupons, and they can only be used by me). They eventually manually entered the code for the voucher. Not an enjoyable experience.

I have another 19 vouchers to use, plus a few unused codes. I expect further bother, but I am going to use them.

I just picked up on that bit? So you need to take ID of similar?

Whenever i've printed off vouchers for chain pubs/fast food i've just put in comedy names and they've never once checked or refused the offer.

I initially didn't notice the 'This coupon is non-transferable and may only be redeemed by xxxxxxxxx' bit, and gave a relative one of these vouchers to use. When they tried to use it at Sainsbury's, the check-out operator wouldn't accept it because they weren't the named redeemer. It probably depends on who is operating the check-out.
