Birgitte is leaving later today. Many of the HM tried to persuade her otherwise and Bez tried to lead a mini revolution (for them all to leave) and they have decided that the task is now over and they will no longer be 'dressing up'.

I thought the major instigator of the task abandonment was Germaine who actually ordered Brigitte to leave the bed she was warming for the Queen Mother.

But she would've carried on being a puppet for BB if Slys mom hadn't entered the house.......so in reality she is the main catalyst to this evenings shenanigans.

I feel sorry for Brigitte. On the main website it has her quoted as saying " I was so happy and now im so miserable". I think she has handled it alot better than most people would have. I think she will leave today as she seemed pretty adamant and BB will have shot themselves in the foot.

well She's just gone into the diary room (requested by BB)

If she walks because of this then there's not really much point watching three OAP's struggling against BB.

Bridge has to stay for the good of the show and they need to get Jackie out. What a bad move BB.

I really hope she doesn't go, as she has a good opportunity here to get the public on side.

Jackie should go - but unfortunately, Brigitte has volenteered to go where as Jackular would have to be kicked out.

I know! Just when you have gotten your head around it and worked who should go, it all changes - no 24 hour period is the same or stable - Who knows what I could be typing about tomorrow

Does anyone know why, exactly, she's leaving? Surely it can't be just because she doesn't get on with Jackie. I thougth she was a stronger character than that.

Well in a word, no!

No one has unearthed the hystory behind it yet, so it's anyone's guess.
It seemed from the way NB was talking, it was going to affect in some way (hurt) her family. but with 98% of the sound dipped it was hard to tell why?

So she is in fact "ok" with Jackula, but will not have her family affected, so that way she is going.

As I understand it from reading the threads, Brigitte's afraid Jackie's loose tongue will reveal details about Brigitte's life which may upset her family ..... so she wants to be out in order to try and control the situation .....

I believe that, until last night, they hadn't spoken to each other for 20 years and that mutual detestation would be a good way to describe their relationship .....

I came to my senses and searched the DS site news stories. Apparently, she feels her and her family will be splashed all over the UK tabloids and that's what she's afraid of.

A bit late for that, I would have thought. There's something deeper, I'm sure of it.

Damn, I wish I didn't have to go to work. Today could be an interesting one.

Oh, Omah has given me something to think about ... could be.

I'll miss her.

I really hope she doesn't leave, I didn't like Brigitte before BB, I don't really know why I just didn't, but I've really warmed to her over the past few days. BB have really made a huge mistake sending Ma Stallone in, she will not be entertaining if Brigitte does go. I wonder how much they are paying Jackie - is it as much as Brigitte? Who have they invested the most in, that is bound to have an effect on who goes

I can't believe she wants to go because she fears the tabloids - surely publicity is her life blood. And reading about the things she got up to in her last reality TV programme in America (or was the last but one) she isn't worried about embarrassing her family. No, there is somethng much deeper going on her.

She's (Brigitte - well, they all seem to be) still in bed now asleep. I think they don't start the music alarm until after 10 so a while to wait to see what happens.

The way that Jackie speaks to Brigitte I find very dismissive. Like she interpreted her asking her if she wanted to sleep with her (since she knew her - quite generous if Brigitte dislikes her) as meaning sexually. 'I don't do women, dahling' or something. I think there would be a chance that Brigitte would have let bygones be bygones but she can tell that Jackie isn't about to let that happen.

I wish she wouldn't go because I don't think Jackie will last that long anyway. Will she do any of the tasks or will there be some kind of special immunity for her?

She went up in my estimation with the way she handled Mrs Stallone's entry into the house. Not many people would have handled it so well. If she stays I will be supporting her, but I don't think it is likely.

I can't believe the producers of BB didn't consider that she would leave. I think most people would in these circumstances. Why go out of there way to get her by agreeing to pay her £120k and then do something like this? Most people would leave FFS

I also agree that as soon as Jackie is up for eviction she probably would go. Brigette possibly only has to put up with her for a few more days.

I am really warming to Brigette and really hope she stays. Jackie is a freak and a really bad move by BB. She has no knowledge of the game, the rules and I do not get her reason for being there. Surely her son would not want her doing that and the money is not that good.
The reason I like BB is for those who 'play the game', its what makes it interesting. Her settling scores have no interest for me.

It's not really publicity per se, it's more raking up old ground that's been dead and buried for a long time. After 20 years, she naturally feels that she's moved on and made a new life for herself. Also, what happened then, was so hurtful, she doesn't want to be manipulated by BB into going there again. She said to Lisa last night, that there was something from that time that was so hurtful and disgusting that everyone would be shocked but they didn't discuss it any further.
