I Can't stand any of them!!
Christ they are becoming a parody of the worst candidates that have ever been on the show!
Is there anyone to like? They are all more interested in dropping eachother in the shit than doing anything positive for themselves. I know it's early days but .... |

The only nice one seem to be Tim but yeah its only been two episodes, I am sure when the show progresses we will see peoples true colours under stress and if they can handle themselves properly.

I think you have to bear in mind that in the two episodes to date the way they have been edited is to show us only what the candidates do wrong so we get to understand why people are being fired and to introduce us to the more 'entertaining' characters. There's less time to show us what they do right or their nicer qualities - there's only an hour and there's a lot to fit in.
Things will start to settle down once the numbers start to come down and the focus shifts a bit more to show the candidates in an increasingly competent light as we get closer to the final. It's also all part of creating a 'journey' for the candidates to show us how they (supposedly) improve as a result of the process. This is definitely borne out in tomorrow's episode (which I've seen because I was lucky enough to get tickets for the filming of You're Fired last night). There are no actual spoilers, but I've put it behind a spoiler button just in case people want to play ultra-safe.

I can't really say that any of them look like a series winner, but I accept it is early days yet. I do wish though that the women chosen to appear weren't so samey.

I'm used to not liking anyone on this show. There's no public vote so I don't have to think about who I like, plus it saves you from being disappointed if your favourite gets fired.

Having watched the trailer, I think I would put my foot through my TV if I put the actual program on.

I don't really even like Sugar, he will say something in the boardroom one week, only for a few weeks later to change it because of the sircumstance of the winning or losing team. |

its boring Also - I was tracking them on Twitter last year and most of them seeemed pretty decent (and people often say candidates look a lot nicer on YF than the actual show). The majority of them seemed to get on with each other on Twitter at least and it didn't seem faked - the show is just the show. They do encourage conflicts and dislikeable behaviour and reality TV is often not real; even if entertaining. e.g. they get encouraged to make those "I am the best businessman in the universe ever and I will crush anyone who stands in my way" intro quotes by the producers. They also edit to that end early on, so don't read into it too much, OP.

Think it will impact the ratings.
they really are a terrible bunch of people more worthy of the Bigbrother house. there doesn't seem a brain cell between them. don't know why SA was so pissed off they didn't win the bafta the show is long past its best. |
