don't forget he force fed Kate booze so she was so drunk and started to force her to take her clothes off. When Kates mum was asked about this she did say it was a bit creepy. Plus he ate his toe nails after smelling them. Remember Kate cut the nails off for him!

ah yes, Kate played Alex so well. she played Follow The Van With Him Every Night yet nominated him every week.

block voting. Geordies would always voted for a Geordie even if they were awful.

I think it was ok or hello where Alex mentioned that he thought Jonny was going to win and was happy Kate beat him even though he thought Jade should have come 1st. There were also voting issues. Jonny, Jade and Alex had all reported that if you voted for Jonny it said thank you for voting for Alex and vice versa, jade's mum also mentioned this. Big Brother said they had this issue for only 6 hours.

What?

BB5 had millions of votes cast on finale night alone.

Absolute rubbish. I would no more have voted for Jen from big brother nine, than I would've voted Tory at the last election. I also think you've thrown a hell of an accusation Johnny's way, regarding him deliberately getting Kate drunk.

She was semi conscious on the floor and he was pouring booze into her mouth. How can it not be deliberate?
Of course, he was three sheets to the wind himself.

Yes. I thought Kate was great (and liked Alex). I could not stand Jonny. Just seeing the expression on his face was too much.

I'm not fond of Jonny's time in the house but I remember him being incredibly popular with the audience of the time. If such a fuss wasn't made about a female winner back then, I reckon he might have won! I still feel Alex was by far the best housemate that year.

I remember when Jade was moaning about constantly being nominated and Jonny flipped in the pool (not literally), "How d'ye feel for me, I've been up three fookin' times!". The man was an idiot, that's why he got nominated. And he DID pour drink down Kate's throat when she was semi-concious on the floor, another thing to dislike him for.

Kate was OK but she played Alex like a fiddle. She deserved her win, nonetheless.

I like Kate and Johnny. Apart from not being Alex I could never get my head around what Johnny did that wrong.

He didn't look like Alex...granted

I never 'got' the Alex lurv either, he was pretty but so easily influenced by anyone negative, and his own negativity was a turn off.

They were both pished...that's the point. The whole Johnny pouring drink down Kate is as absurd as the whole Kate not stopping Jade from stripping.

If Alex had made attempts to get Kate pished it would probably have been seen as romantic.

Johnny's only crime was that he was not Alex, and Alex was the poster boy that year.

Spencer was the original poster boy, but Alex took that role once he ousted Spencer from the house.

A lot of the disgust at Jonny's behaviour with Kate stemmed from the fact he had a long-term girlfriend outside the house.

I thought Kate was treated unfairly over Jade stripping. It wasn't Kate's responsibility to stop her and I doubt that she could have anyway. She did attempt to cover her with something, but she was clearly delighted and why not?

I dont think he did anything inappropriate did he? (I might have forgotten, I haven't ever re-watched it)

I wasn't that gone on either of them; but Kate was OK. A touch of the mean girl about her at times - but largely OK. Johnny was an idiot and I found him very uncomfortable to watch. He was very much of the 'tries too hard' variety and was coarse and very prone to aggressive little outbursts.

Alex should have run away with that series.

Touch of the mean girl about Kate, and yet Alex should've run away with it?. Alex had a horrible side to him. Yes, he could be funny - usually at other peoples expense - but more often than not, the bad feeling in the house that year came from him and Jade. Actually, him and Jade being the final two, would've probably been funnier. Not only did each of them have a horrible dislike for most of the rest of the housemates that year, they also seemed to hate each other. He should've run away with it? No chance.

I thought they grew very fond of each other, despite themselves.

What are you on about, only alex and Jackiey ever mentioned vote discrepancies, and lets face it, they're both *****. Sibley was nasty, and set up Jade to be his bad guy.

Jonny wasn't my favourite either, but he was a hero fireman who had well-documented cases of saving lives, would be enough for him to piss any of the last 5 series.

'What do you know Jade, you're only a dental nurse'
Yes Alex really did say that.

Yep, and people slag off Kate for playing follow-the-van with him, then nominating. Yet she was always drunk, and he stayed up waiting for her sober. Much more predatory than Jonny.

The three of them adele, alex and kate also promised they'd never talk about what happened beneath the sheets, only kate kept to that.

In what context?
Was it when she kicked up a fuss because they had no toothpaste on the poor side?

I dont remember Jonny as being predatory at all.
