Camera isn't as good as the S4, although the S4 is diabolical at recording audio. Both are compromised for imaging.

Agreed that it looks stunning.”

No it's not.

I do wish you would stop this. Next we will see from you mutterings about your apparent excellent nokia 808 which you do in every thread.....

Oh wait, you already did.....

It's not introduced lag. Its always been there in TouchWhiz. Install Nova Launcher, lag will vanish and TouchWhiz features will stay. That's what i used to do with my S3.

Fella at work had to send two One's back because of pixel burnout. Settled on the S4 now and loves it. As do I. No lag to report after over 2 weeks use.

On that completely scientific basis go for the S4. Or believe those who've had a "play" in a shop.

Or don't believe any of the claptrap that gets spouted on here.

There is a slight bit of lag, but there has just been an update pushed to fix it apparently. The bit i wouldn't listen to people about is the apparent bloat that causes it. Its just bad coding that's caused it.

I'll take our word for it, but there are complaints of lag on forums such as androidcentral.

Had a play with both today side by side and they are both pretty good and either would be a good choice.

I do like the speakers on the one have to say should make that standard on all phones. It does look and feel nice nice too with a great screen. However I don't think I could take that blink feed would drive me mad if you want a windows phone get the original.

The s4 has the better screen though and bigger which would swing it for me. Also removable battery and sd slot always very welcome for me. Took a few pics with the cameras and both very good and more than acceptable on a phone, but again the s4 looked a bit better to me, can't comment on the low light performance. Some of the enhanced features of the s4 didn't seem quite spot on yet but I expect they will be refined pretty soon.

Performance wise couldn't see anything between them worth noting to be honest.

I would go with the s4 if I had to choose purely based on the screen which after all you spend so much time looking at. However I wouldn't trade my note 2 for either yet and see what the note 3 brings.

That's what i mean. There is lag but its always been in TouchWhiz. However, its apparently been fixed with an update the last few days.

The apparent bloatware bit causing it is rubbish however.

Oh right, I see what you mean. Lets hope they've fixed it.

Might go with the HTC One and give it a go. I can try it up to 14 days before deciding anyway.

No I know has one.

Is downloading apps easy to use?

I want to be able to use Skype on it etc. Is it only I phones that can have face time?

Also does the HTC have fast video streaming etc?

I'm considering the Note 2 instead of the S4. I like the larger screen and battery life, and it doesn't look as if I'd notice a hell of a lot of difference between them.

The Note 3 sounds interesting, but I don't honestly think I could manage a phone with a 6.3" screen if that particular rumour is accurate - it would just be too inconvenient to carry around in my pocket.
