Why don't you offer to pay it then?

Im sure Alan Sugar would love your idea. Go pitch it to him and expect to be fired.

Why? £250,000 is more than sufficient to kick-start the kind of ideas the candidates come up with. Besides, there's nothing to stop Sugar from investing more capital if he thinks it's worth doing so - he's not limited to putting in £250k just because that's the value of the promised initial investment.

Thanks, guys.

I'll write Lord Sugar a letter.

Emma I'm confused how can I be fired if I've never been hired?

The current prize is £250,000 'in value' which isn't the same as £250,000 in hard cash.

Quite - I wonder how much per hour Lord Sid charges his time at?

Ask Lord Sugar, he somehow manages to do it every week

Aye but I see that more like they are interns so are working for Sugar until they bodge up or until he takes a dislike to them for hiding under the carpet.

Whereas I'm supposed to be fired for suggesting a bigger prize.

I do wonder what the real "value" of the cash is at times.

By the looks of some of them, especially Myles one wonders if they even need the £250k.
