Did anyone else love how she bigged up the girls and went on about how the panel loved them and how wonderful they were when they did their pitch before she said "no orders". It was hilarious.

Luisa and Natalie were looking so smug before she dealt her blow. It was epic.

I love Karren this series. It was very satisfying the way she showered them with compliments, gathering momentum to the big reveal, only to snatch the rug from under them. Obviously LS is going to mix things up, just as well because I honestly think this could have been the first series, where the women didn't win a single week!

It appeared that the producers told her to do it that way.

It appealed to their vanity which appears to be all they have. They should sack the lot of the shrieking banshees. Whether or not they have business skills (and it appears not) there is not one of them I find endearing.

I prefer Karren to Nick and can't understand why people are so nasty to her on this forum.

Oh come on it's the oldest TV trick in the book. As soon as Karen stated saying it I had a rather strong suspicion that their soon to be built up hopes, would come crashing down just moments after.

Having said that, it was don with some style, I'll give her that!

I was also taken in by the fact that the girls' results were announced last, as all too often, the team whose figures are read out last come out as the winner. Nice that it wasn't that predictable this week!

I don't mind Karren, personally.

I have been critical of Karren in the past mostly for her avoidance of admitting the help she had from family connections in getting her first management position and being untruthful in getting her first position.

I also felt she was critical of the contestants in a situation she had never had to deal with in her career and had little understanding of how difficult it is to work in a group with no leader.

I still feel the same about that but this week Karren seemed to become charm itself on the You've Been Fired show and I really liked her like that.

Some say that she has been harshly criticized but she hasnt really been like she has in this weeks Apprentice show, before. If she keeps this lightened up persona, I think she will do well. It may be that she was feeling her way for a while in the programme and I really warmed to her when SA made a sexist comment and she shot right back at him, "Excuse me"

Well done Karren

That moment reminded me of a Louis Walsh moment from The X Factor 2008, during Girlband's audition.

"They're nice girls, I really like them".
*girls smile*
"I'm gonna say no".

I really, really like Karren. I didn't think they'd ever fill the void that Margaret left but she's been a good addition to the show.

Not all of them are banshees. Sophie was not and Leah just rolls her eyes instead of getting involved.

Also, is it just me or has Karren lost some weight? She actually look rather dishy and her hair styles make her look hot too. I guess she had to make a bif effort this year what with all the botox going on in the girls team!

C'mon now, I bet every viewer thought she was going to come out with some staggering figure for the girls .
I don't believe Karren would ever resort to such tactics unless she was prompted by the producer .

I found it nasty and not a good precedent for whats to come in the future . Its a tactic used in lots of quiz shows and I find it most annoying and unnecessary .

I must admit I was very impressed with how well she came over on Piers Morgan recently. I knew she was made of strong stuff and had respect for her, but hadn't realised how warm and funny she was too.
