Yuck.

I go with ocado BECAUSE they deal with Waitrose, if they lose the waitrose products, they will lose my custom.

And me, I liked some of their own stuff too so it was a good combo, but I'm not keen on morrisons. Why don't you just use waitroses' own online service?

I'm an Ocado fan too. It isn't clear to me if Ocado will sell Morrisons stuff as well as or instead of Waitrose.

My dream would be for M&S to start home delivery.

As I understand it, the new deal means Morrisons brand items and vans with Ocado's premises/logistics. The Waitrose deal is totally separate, however, it was on the BBC news that Waitrose aren't happy with the Morrisons deal and are consulting lawyers re possible breach of contract on Ocado's part.

Morrisons is my nearest supermarket and I've been waiting on them offering online delivery for ages, as we have a very good local store. I have my reservations about this deal because I don't want Ocado's higher prices to influence Morrisons competitive prices. Moreover, I'm wondering how they can operate it all from a Midlands warehouse, bearing in mind Ocado are based south of it and Morrisons are predominantly north of it. If they are using Ocado's logistics, which are non-existent here in Scotland, how the hell are they going to deliver to Morrisons customers in Scotland? There isn't much time left for expansions and having it all up-and-running in time for January 2014.
