Hello and welcome to the third live show of NTA6 Mainstream! Last week our top 20 all took a step back in time as they performed hits that were early from their careers, however sadly we had to say goodbye to Cyndi Lauper and Dionne Warwick

This week the acts all perform against each other for the first time, as they perform recent hits. However unfortunately we must say goodbye to two more acts tonight

But first I must reveal who won the sign off between P!nk and Justin Timberlake, and which act will be eliminated right now on the spot

First off I'm going to reveal the results from last weeks sing off between Justin Timberlake and P!nk!

First of all, I love P!nk and I'm gutted to be in this position with her, so..yeah. Obviously I want more time to grow in this competition with Justin as I just think he's got a back catalogue which I could just play on repeat, 24/7. So I hope you all are fans too, and I hope you all take Justin into consideration for next week- as it's recent, and I can promise a real belter from The 20/20 Experience.

P!nk is someone I’ve grown up listening to and she’s been such an inspiration for me. This performance proves she’s one of the biggest and most beautiful vocalists of our generation. She’s has such emotion in her performances. Look how passionate she is! I love singers who mean what they’re singing and Pink does so much more than that – her songs mean so much.

If I get through, I promise that I’ll work even harder with P!nk. She’s got a new album full of exciting new songs which I haven’t even touched on yet. Not only that, but she's such a big catalogue of interesting music that it would be a shame to see her go so early. You can be sure that if she gets through you will be able to hear a lot of her current music as well as the more interesting old ones. I messed up one week, and I am determined not to mess up again!”

Two brilliant performances but unfortunately only one of them can be safe, and one must be eliminated right now! I can now reveal that the act with the least amount of votes in the sing off and therefore the act finishing in 18th place is...

Big commiserations to Val and Justin who have unfortunately been eliminated from the competition from the competition

Really sorry to see you go Val, I know it's a pretty harsh exit and it could have ended up differently if it hadn't happened but unfortunately that's the nature of the game

You still have indie though, and I hope you still keep up with the game and vote! (I think especially Zak hopes this

)

Big well done to P!nk and Roxie however, who have survived the sing off and are therefore still in the competition and performing tonight

Oh my god - commiserations Val! And that was my favorite song... Again Justin and Pink are two cool artists who've had careers as long as each other. It's a shame.
