I can't transfer downloaded music to my I pad. Manage fine with videos and films but when trying with music it deletes what I've got and only puts the new stuff on!
Been trying for about 3 hours now!

Strange. It should just work apparently.

Maybe set it to manual on music so it doesn't sync. Is the old existing stuff no longer on your computer in itunes?
