The best finale I've seen to a series.
I was very impressed.

I can't remember any finales from classic Who though.

The finale was excellent anyway, but the reveal at the end is the television moment of the year so far for me.

It was good.

Although some of the dodgy effects and production values were hoky it still retained a certain epic quality to it.

Amazing! The best episode since AOTD, just the shame the rest of the series wasn't up to the same standard =/

It didn't have Dobby the House Elf in a cage, saved by everyone believing in fairies at the same time.

It didn't have The Master jumping like the Hulk and throwing lightning like the Emperor.

It didn't have David staggering around taking 45 minutes to die, saying how he couldn't go because he was so damn lovely and great.

It didn't have a grow your own David to please the shippers.

So pretty damn good.

Needs a rewatch, but probably will beat TBB to become my No.1 favourite NuWho finale.

Didnt like it. Timeline in the tomb was silly. Terrible attempt to try and rewrite history.

No it wasn't shit, but a lot (not all) of Series 5 to 7 has been. That's why there is an anti Moffat brigade. If he can write as good stuff as "The Empty Child", "The Girl in the Fireplace" and tonight's episode then people obviously complain when his standards fall well below these.

Well that's your opinion.

I think his tenure has been nothing short of brilliant.

And many more will agree with me.

but hey, if we all thought this same the world would be a boring place.

One of the best finales for me and probably the best tease ever for the next special/series.

Why do people try to back up their opinions with stuff like that? A personal opinion is just that. Some loved it, some hated it. All as valid as one another, no matter how many people support a certain viewpoint.

David staggering around saying he didn't want to go was just so embarrassing.

This was fantastic though.

For me, the order goes from best to worst;

The Parting of the Ways
The Big Bang
Doomsday
Journey's End
Last of the Time Lords
The Name of the Doctor
The End of Time: Part 2
The Wedding of River Song

For me..

The Wedding of River Song
The Big Bang
The Name of the Doctor
Journey's End
Last of the Timelords
Parting of Ways
The End of Time
Doomsday

Brilliant episode, but I prefer the overall arc of series five and series six. If we incorporated mid-series finales though..

I was simply pointing out that many people love Moffat's tenure, don't get your knickers in a twist now.
