Ive been rewatching some of bb8 first of all im loving it which has shocked me im even enjoying chiggy but even more shocking is im missing Carole sometimes she barely appears on the highlights but as i remember live feed loved her.

Its strange how much they leave her out her strangle hold on the house is often nodded to by the other housemates but rarely shown and i really miss seeing it.

things in the highlights spark memories of her going on for hours and just wish i could see more

Series 8 was awful, never watched live feed this year, but I would rather Carole from the highlights over Samanda and Brian any day of the week.

I thought the BB8 final was very enjoyable, it had a real fun and celebratory atmosphere. Since then they've gone majorly downhill.

I've been re-watching it too. I'm up to Charley's eviction/Halfway Housemates entrance and I really do actually like this series alot more than I did the first time. Carole is so underrated... she is such a great housemate. I found it honourable that she was the only one to stick up for Charley when everyone was bitching about her.

Erm, no they weren't. It was the opposite. If they wanted to get rid of her they could have shown all her horrible antics that were witnessed on the live feed. Instead they painted a completely different Carole in the highlight shows. In fact I would go as far to say that she is the housemate out of all 26(?) series (celeb versions included) that was the most different from her in the highlight shows than the live feed.

And they could have curbed her controlling behaviour at any moment. IMO they seemed to welcome her strangehold she had over the house, especially as the series before that was the Jade vs Shilpa fiasco

Totally agree with you - Ma Baker was protected time & time again on the highlight shows, her nasty antics were completely glossed over!
She was even protected when she was evicted along with Jonty!

oh yeah i forgot she left with jonty in fact i forgot she survived so many evictions the public had plenty of chances to get rid

Unfortunately not all of the voting public watched the LF to see what Ma Baker was actually like. She was portrayed as a completely different person on the HL programmes!
