Invent your ideal ice cream flavour
Inspired by the Ben and Jerry's thread! Mine would be haagan daaz or movenpick vanilla, swirls of crushed Reece's peanut butter cups with a crumble of Oreo biscuits.
What's yours? |

Mines already been invented - The new Peanut Buttercup Ben & Jerrys:
peanut butter ice cream with Reece's Pieces type things in it Although Oh My Apple Pie is a pretty close second. Actually if they invented an Oh My Lemon Meringue Pie version that would be even better ! Ut would be lemon curd ice cream swirled with limoncello and bits of pie crust and meringue in it |

Vanilla for me is always king.
But, I wouldn't mind trying an amaretto (Disaronno preferably) flavour. Cherry and custard tart flavour - vanilla icecream with bits of cherry, cakey stuff and swirls of custard? Mmmmmm! |

Not sure if this one has already been invented, but my ideal flavour would be:
- half and half vanilla and chocolate; - raspberries; and - chopped Brazil nuts. Being honest, it's probably easy enough for me to make myself at home .

Does anyone remember black forest cornettoes? They were nice but I haven't seen them for about twenty years. So I will go with chocolate and black cherry ice cream with a good shot of...something. Kirsch, maybe? Possibly brandy.

I think you've said it all!

I was thinking bakewell tart but I didn't really want the almonds in the ice-cream, though I do still like the almonds on an actual bakewell tart.

I am not a huge ice-cream fan but the nicest I have ever had (barring the ice-cream in Rome) was at a little backstreet Turkish place in South London and it was rose water ice-cream. I almost passed it up at the time but am so glad I didn't!!
Shame I live miles away from the restaurant. |
