EE and Three ranked top in Manchester and Hull, with O2 ranked 3rd and Vodafone in it's usual last place again.

Some interesting points:
Three’s average download speed more than doubled since our last visit to the Hull area.

Three the most reliable data network in Hull

Vodafone a 5% call failure rate, AGAIN more than double any other network.

In Manchester Three’s average download speed nearly tripled since their last visit.

Three the most repliable data network in Manchester

Vodafone again the most dropped calls in Manchester as well.
O2 is amazing and Vodafone is even better.. Wow what a result for Cornerstone. Said no one.

What is going on at Vodafone? Have they been distracted by their shareholders clamour to split the company or is it lack of investment or something different?

Old legacy backhaul. Only explanation I can think of... They have one of thr largest allocation of spectrum for 2100 3G and they have 900 3G.. So radio wise they are sorted, it seems sites are becoming saturated causing dropped calls, missed calls (when user is not busy), call connection failures and inconsistent data speeds. Which brings up the big question where does C&W and it's fibre network fit in to this.. Well I speculate it just has been rolled out much / only being done at potential 4G sites so far...

It just shows how great a product Virgin's backhaul SyncE is and EE/Three made a great choice where many said it was a stupid one.

How many 20+ speeds test results on O2 or Voda have any of you seen???

Vodafone has a data network reliability of only 75% in Hull, meaning 1 in 4 app, email or web page download requests will fail.

For comparison Three had 97.3% app, email or web page download success.

You have to worry as Cornerstone has been running for quite a while already, things really shouldn't be that bad on Vodafone that you're getting a 1 in 4 failure rate over all those tests in so many locations.

Agree it does seem EE/Three made the right choice. Yeah only EE has more 2100 then Vodafone and with the 3G 900 they probably have more 3G spectrum then anyone. It just they not implementing right cornerstone needs to strap on a Duracell as obviously there current batteries not working.
