New X Factor 2013 Format
Some people seem a bit confused as to how the new format will work, so here it is in basic terms...
The X Factor 2013: Auditions, Bootcamp Qualifier, Bootcamp, Judges Home's and The Live Shows. Auditions: Contestants will face Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger in an intimate room as they perform for a place in the next round. If the contestant successfully passes the audition (3+ yeses from judges) they will then progress to the next round which will happen a month after their initial audition. Arena Audition/Bootcamp Qualifier: After getting through their first audition, contestants will now have to perform in an Arena in front of thousands. Here, the contestants will be whittled down to a smaller number. The selected contestants will then progress to a revamped Bootcamp. Bootcamp: It has been reported that the successful contestants will fly out to an 'exotic location' to take part in a new and improved bootcamp. Once bootcamp is over each judge will be allocated a category. Judges Homes: No change here. The contestants will perform for their mentor and a special guest as they decide who will be part of the mentors final group. Live Shows: Once again, there's no change here. We all know how this one goes So that's the new format. I like the sound of it. It looks as though the arena audition has basically replaced bootcamp while bootcamp will have a revamp and will probably be slightly different. What do you think of the new format? |
