He seems to be firing all the BME candidates.

Jaz had to go, she was awful. No problem with that.

Sophie was not the weakest person last week, that was definitely Natalie.

This week, it should have been a double firing, Uzma and Neil, but no, he opted for just Uzma.

Zee is the PM next week.

I think Zee will do ok as PM and step up a bit. He's far too aggressive and unprofessional at times but he does have a brain. Uzma should not have gone this week, one of the 2 beardie blokes should have gone, Kurt for his tunnel vision, or Neil for running with it and shutting down Uzma all day. But Uzma should have gone last week instead of Sophie.

I must admit it felt like Uzma had lost her va va voom. Where was the little tiger she normally unleashes?

Its pretty obvious the group have singled out Louisa, the posh guy and Zee as being weaker candidates so I can see all three going in succession if team results go that way.

Agreed, she looked like she was beaten and Neil and Kurt were willing to fight for themselves.

@ OP, you could make the case that it's not just BME, it's also been all females (if we're excluding Tim). Let's hope next week is a guy, hopefully Jason, who is becoming the luckiest guy ever in the apprentice by having the right/ winning team around him.

i thought zee would be a master salesman like Syed. But he he's rubbish. He thinks he's a great salesman - but he jus talks.

SOmetimes the best way to sell is to listen to the buyer and let them play their cards and sell your product in a way that addresses (and solves) their needs. Not yap on non stop and assume that if you can stop them from vocalising their objections somehow you can stop them thinking it too.

Good point, I forgot about Tim! My bad.

Uzma seemed like Gabrielle Omar from last year. Gabrielle was normally very vocal and intelligent, but the week she got the boot, it was like she lost the ability to think and speak. Personally, I think it's fixed and contestants know from the start which week they will get given the boot. Uzma didn't do anything in the boardroom this week save sit there and do her weird eyes look. It was like she knew it was goodbye this week.

Agreed. She gave up, partly because I think she thought "it's my third time here, no way I'm going to survive", and partly because she had nothing to defend, she hadn't done anything wrong per se, Neil had put her in a position with nothing much to do.

The only way she could've saved herself was by piling on Kurt, he'd run roughshod over her wanting to buy more veg, and the tunnel vision on milkshakes from Kurt was something Neil might've backed her on.

Don't like Zee far to up himself, and he failed last week in 2 pitches to sell the chair and was removed from the final sales pitch.

I wouldn't buy a used car from him!

Uzma again displayed the reason why the girls have failed every task, she was constantly questioning and wanting to discuss everything, Neil did a good job of shutting her down and actually moving forward in the task. And again we see a candidate "big themselves up" with the "I'm great at selling", "watch me indoors, outdoors, I'll sell sell sell" yet she was next to useless, she has shown no ability in any task, even the first task she managed to wangle out of doing anything by claiming she was doing the "logistics" (in fairness, she did do that well), but has failed in everything else.

I think that Gabrielle was a far stronger candidate than Uzma.

I think the only thing that is fixed is the editing. Uzma probably did say a lot to defend herself but it was edited out in order to add weight to Lord Sugar firing her. They deliberately showed cuts of her looking awkward while selling (granted, she wasn't that good anyway) but it's all edited to suit whatever narrative the producers have picked for a particular week.

Yes definitely agree. Couple this up with Neil freezing her out of the task so she would be his scapegoat in the boardroom if things went tits up she never stood a chance. She should have gone before now, that was the way to do it, not stitch her up like this, and it's soooo transparent.

Most of the men this year are up themselves. Zee is not the worst. Compared to Neil, Jordan and such like, Zee is a saint. At least he doesn't brag and make out he is the best thing ever like Neil.

No, I meant similarities in the week they both got the boot. It was like they were told not to do anything, just sit there and walk around and then they would get fired.

??? Are you watching the same show as me? Only last week was Zee bragging about good he was before bombing at sales. Even in the next week preview, the last thing youll have seen, he was seen saying "Put your maps away, I know Dubai like the back of my hand". Jordan may have got a tad more arrogant recently but compared to Zee he has major self-confidence issues.

The thing is though is that I thought as though Kurt appeared as though he was a beaten man and thought he was going to go.
Usually he acts all confident, in control, and with it. But last night he looked so despondent and down in the boardroom section as though the milk shake fiasco was his downfall.

He fought back well and had planned a decent defence of sorts to the milk shake thing, but his head was down and he looked like he felt that it was all over for him.

Whenever the show select those types of quotes you just know that they've done that because things are going to go pear shaped for the particular contestant.

I'm not sure what Zee has demonstrated being good at.
I don't recall him having contributed much more than other contestants who haven't done much, other than being vocal about how good he is.

Think you are watching something else to be fair. Zee likes to brag but at least he isn't Neil: "behind every pm is a Neil Clough", is that why you lost the task love? And then acting like it's his show saying "so and so is the weakest candidate". Whatever!

It was totes hil when Sugar shut Jordan right up when he said "Well you should try some buffalo" or whatever he said in the boardroom. It was so funny.

I thought Kurt looked more like he was going to cry, he'd just taken a beating in what it seems is very close to what his proposal is.

I wouldn't say he'd given up, he was in a pretty good place defending the shakes, they did sell well, just not as he'd predicted, and Neil lying about the figures to try and deflect attention away from himself didn't help. Kurt and Neil have been like the same person other weeks.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Kurt being so authoritative and not letting the others spend any more money in his little sub team. Had Uzma brought this up, she may have survived another week.

He looked so unimpressed when Jordan suggested him to try buffalo meat (without mentioning the "this is not a football match" thing). It's true that every one of them had legit reasons to be fired, but he had to fire Uzma because he already said he had an eye on her and she did nothing. Honestly it would have been more fair to fire Neil, because he contributed the most to fail the task by sucking at being team leader, but LS already said he had an eye on her, so he couldn't really have spared her. Theres no smoke without fire.

Well it's done now. And maybe it was for the best. She did come across quite bitter and snarly. Now we only have 2 shouty witches left: Louisa and Natalie.

Jason to go next. I'd put money on it.

Natalie should've gone last week rather than Sophie. LS could then have appointed Sophie PM this week giving her an opportunity to show what she could do. I liked her quiet dignity and think she could've made a good leader. Alas, we'll never know.

If Zee's PM next week, I can see him messing up badly and being fired
