Hi Tom, nice to see you posting on here and mixing with the riff raff I liked you on BB and thought you definitely had a chance of winning and I like you on BOTS too, I do hope you will return as you totally shone on BOTS for me.

With regards to the bit in bold, I do agree about the house dynamics, it wasn't until Anton mentioned being a best friend to Harry that I was aware there must have been a closeness between them that wasn't shown, much like yourself I think. They promoted Aaron and Harry as being the closest of friends in there along with Mark until he left.

Regarding Heaven though, it was one of the things I did notice about you which stuck in my mind of how you wasn't afraid to stick your neck out, as it were, for someone and one of the reasons I liked you in the first place. So maybe they didn't have to show more than they already did.

i'm not going to ask you a question about what went on in BB because a lot of things have been covered but would like to ask what your plans are now for the future, do you have anything in the pipeline where we may see you on our screens again maybe?

I am sure all BB housemates reflect upon their own experience in a favourable way. Games shows are designed to give us choices when it comes to voting.

Erm another one that came to mind...A bit cliche but has anyone you were in the house with completely different in life after BB?

Maybe you think they were trying to be someone their not and then let them real selves out after the show? Or maybe their egos got too big after appearing on National TV?

Essentially is anyone not really the person we saw on screen?

You might not appreciate this question but in the interest of openess I'll ask it.

A number of housemates from your year such as Anton, Jay, Louise, Harry, Aaron etc have stated publicaly that they were told shocking things about Alex by the production after the show was over. Amongst them that her behavior reduced two of her handlers to tears during the lockdown process and that she acted very...shall we say differently during the dry runs. There seems to be a common consensus from the HMs that she is very different outside the house.

Being her best frieng inside the house I'm curious about your thoughts on this.

Hi Tom. Hope you are well. I truly think that you are one of those people who are happy still that you went on the show. I have a couple of questions and sorry if they have been asked before.

- When you watched it back (if you did), did anyone surprise you with the way they acted in the house and DR which you didn't see? Who did you think was different and did you think that the people who were popular deserved to be and who did you think would have been more popular?

Firstly, I think a lot of housemates are bitter when it comes to Alex. Overall, I think the house were intimidated by her ability to be so popular within the house, with minimal effort.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. Their comments stem from what they were "told" as opposed to seen/experienced. Hearsay is a very dangerous thing and something I chose not to base my opinions on post-show.

Interestingly, those housemates who claim Alex is different omit (or perhaps weren't told) some vital information.

Alex was chaperoned by two women due to her age etc. One chaperone was heavily pregnant and therefore unable to travel around much. This meant Alex was essentially kept inside her accommodation. In comparison to me; I went out with my chaperone everyday to various places. Hence I think Alex felt slightly trapped; which I think is horrendous given that is our last bit of freedom before BB. Like many of the girls, Alex wanted to get her hair done before the house. They kept postponing to which Alex expressed dissatisfaction. The pregnant chaperone (no doubt hyped on hormones etc) became upset. However, afterwards they cleared the air and the chaperone admitted they hadn't perhaps helped her prepare as much as they could have. Slightly changes the chaperone story doesn't it...

Also, I think anybody who takes the word of those housemates to be a fool. The HM's who generated most of those comments haven't spoken to Alex since the show, so how they can pass comment is beyond me. In my opinion, it's a weak person who forms their judgement on the view of others. Especially, when i was told things about housemates too. In relation to Jay, he ignored Alex on the train to the wrap party because of "stuff he heard."

So to conclude forget the common consensus. I can't take their opinion seriously without them having contact with Alex in the real world.

The only thing that shocked me (that I've seen) was Aaron's comment about me playing up to cameras and being so focused on the money. In reality, I would argue I was the least succeptable to these traits

Faye said she'd seen me around as we both worked in Sutton. I think she said she'd always seen me chatting away to people in store. In all honestly, I'd never noticed her prior to BB. Although I think we seen each other in a car park before we went into hiding

What's your thought's on Emma replacing Brian?

Personally I think it's a good move. I don't think presenting came natural to Brian. He overplayed the camp card at times. I don't think he was that funny in the way he carried it off. He's certainly no Graham Norton or Alan Carr. Emma should have been Davina's natural replacement.

It was Aaron's idea of playing the game which I found nasty he often did thinks like praise Alex in the diary room with tears in his eyes because she was just like his son etc and then go and slag her off to Harry , he must have thought you were on danger of winning at that point, he came on here boasting that despite his dramatics crying etc when mark left he was secretly rejoicing because the competition had left

I thought Brian was fine. However, I can understand why they want Emma as she is a very likeable person. In regard to Brian's humour, he may have been limited on how much he was able to deviate from script

I haven't seen too much of that, so can't really comment.

Yes I think he did approach it as a game but I don't think he is to be chastised for that, because BB is. He just chose to really play it

There are ways though Aaron chose to deceive the audience and his friends no loyalty
I don't know how that could make him a winner on a show where the best personality is supposed to win
Although its not Aaron's fault he won the audience were at fault there

To be honest I asked this question pretty much knowing the kind of response you would give although there are a few points I find interesting.

The housemates effortlessly liked her but were intimidated that the others liked her? I think you can appreciate how silly that sounds.

Their comments arn't soley based what they were told. It may have influenced how they looked at her but they all must have seen and interacted with her at the wrap party. Didn't Aaron meet up with the two of you in London not long after? Then also there's the infamous Penzance car journey. I'd be interested to know your take on Jay and Louise's claims that she slammed a car door on Louise and called the two of them "scum". I don't think Alex would do anything like that unprovoked so I'd be interested to hear the other side.

The reason why this was a big deal was that during the show there was quite a bit of evidence to suggest that Alex was different outside too from her own website, to her attempts at a glamour modelling career and some candid videos which seemed to paint a different picture of her.

Afterall we're talking about someone who was an air stewardess but claimed not to know how to open a bottle of champagne.

In BB there's always debate of what constitutes "bitching". I don't think we ever saw in real bitching sessions from either of them. If they happened they were never shown.

Obviously when Jay came out of the crypt he and Anton tried to twist a lot of what they said and it seemed you and everyone were very willing to believe them. Even when Jay changed it from "Harry bitched about Jem and Lou and Aaron didn't defend them" to "Aaron bitched about Jem and Lou" none of you seemed.

It seems to me the same logic that you're trying to apply to Alex applies here. You're going off what you're told as opposed to first hand experience.


You wont see because I don't think it ever happened. As far as we can we saw Aaron never slagged Alex off to Harry or anyone. The particular user that said that has a very big axe to grind against Aaron and a habit of heavy extrapolation.
