I suppose a perfect album means one that you naturally feel the urge to listen to from start to finish and not skip any tracks, treating it as one solid piece of music. Maybe not even the best music but for what the album was meant to accomplish it pretty much nails it.
Marilyn Manson - Holy Wood Marilyn Manson - Antichrist Superstar Marilyn Manson - Mechanical Animals Marilyn Manson - High End Of Low Korn - Korn Garbage - Version 2.0 John Lennon - Plastic Ono Band John Lennon - Walls And Bridges Slipknot - Vol 3: The Subliminal Verses Rob Zombie - Hellbilly Deluxe Beatles - Revolver Beatles - Abbey Road Rammstein - Mutter Rammstein - Liebe ist fur alle da Pink - Funhouse George Harrison - All Things Must Pass |

Off the top of my head, mine include.
Judas Priest - British Steel (not a duff track and a bona fide classic). Iron Maiden - The Number Of The Beast (ditto). Diamond Head - Borrowed Time (brilliant musicianship and songwriting). Tesla - Mechanical Resonance. And finally, an album that was never officially released The Cult - Peace. I have it in a box set. If you hear this, you'll never listen to Electric again. |
