The Colie-x-GSD I mentioned was also the best dog ever - LOL

My sister named the poor sod 'George' - He was originally acquired for her - free to a good home - but he became my dog over time, seeing as I was the one who fed and walked him.
He ate lots of stuff that dogs aren't supposed to have, got through a small factory's worth of chocolate in his 19yrs.
He had a cup of tea every morning - milk, no sugar - made in a normal mug and tipped into his bowl, and also developed a taste for beer for the latter half of his life.
It had to be beer though - not lager, he wouldn't touch it.
His eyesight deteriorated from about the age of 15, and every time the back door was opened, he would run down the garden barking, until he got about 5 feet from the clothes dryer and realised it wasn't an intruder in the garden

Sadly he had to be PTS at 19 due to cancer and failing liver, but he had a heck of an innings for a large dog.
The vet who came out on his last day, thought we were exaggerating his age, until he saw that George's records went back 18½yrs.
