![]() I rarely use prose to hereby disclose what lies within my ancient skin. I much prefer rhyme with which we can climb from here to the stars. No need for guitars. Or big synthesizer appetiser. Just give me a beat man. A framework to plan how the next line should go. It's easy; y' know.

Perpetual Postponement..
In the eye of the beholder In each poor aching heart there's a loaded revolver and a time to depart. But the wool washes over and the chains hardly chafe and my four leaf clover is safe in the safe. And if I'm not mistaken it's not such a bad day. If I save my bacon maybe there's a way to grow old, and get wiser than silly me. Could maybe surprise her with my poetry. My love is like roses frozen in time. No one discloses when love is a crime. |

The Great Flood
The great flood, A release, The gush of clear salty lifeblood, From the arteries, damaged, Wear and tear from years gone From boat and vessel and human alone A release, Into the solid lands of afar The arteries of solid land Which circulates a sea of wheeled metal Clogged with cracks which are rarely planned The salty lifeblood washing our metallic seas of life Bringing with it grief and pain and strife The poison that threatens our stable, our life, our time The poison that swallows and gurgles and suffocates The poison that brings with life Also threatens death. Water. |

Taken.
They enticed him away for a "holliday" with talk of beer and cake. Would be a nice time for the master of rhyme who needed a break. Did they force him to write, right through the night, sweet words we know so well? Or steal his nibs for telling fibs. Can anybody tell? Was it something said which coldly bled the colour from a dream? Sounds more like me. SET MUSTY FREE. Take me instead. ![]()

Final Encounter.
Both ears full of tears as the ceiling disappears and the roof falls away and stars come out to play. Wide eyes big surprise mouth mouthing denies. Bright light this time of night Just doesn't feel right. The sound shook the ground with a throbbing kind of pound and electric filled the air to add to my despair. Then a being full of love took me in his glove and I knew all was well then a flash and a bell. I swore not to tell, but I will say this: Silence is bliss. |
