The singing builder. Whats so great about him?

Why all the bizarre praise for the singing builder with the gravel voice.
I feel left out, like someone who hasn't been invited to the party!
To me he's average and I don't think theres a chance of hearing him again after the series is over.

Nothing. Don't like gravel voices at the best of times.

I don't really get it.. A lot of people cover iris and simply ruin it by over singing it, the original version didn't need the scream and shout to convey the emotion of the lyrics

He's similar to James Arthur in that sense to me, shouting and sounding angry throughout a song does not equal emotion

What did he sing?

He's a good singer but I personally don't see anything amazing about him.

Iris - originally by The Goo Goo Dolls, with a arguably more well know bland cover version by Ronan Keating.

I don't think he was a good singer, in any capacity,( or the bloke on BGT.)

I did wonder why they put him in the three at the end like the top three. His audition was distinctly average. I remember they showed a montage of dull singer-songwriter types with him at the end as if he was something different... and he was just as dull

Yeah I didn't understand that either. They said they were bored of miserable songs about romance then he comes along and blurts that dog sick out!!!

Quick everyone, clap him, he's one of us!!!

Absolute contrived predictable nonsense
