I'm guessing late 60's, maybe early '70's who ran a feature on the front/back page entitled 'When The Crowd Roared'. It was relating to notable feats in football matches. Any ideas anyone?

Too early for me but I'm guessing it was either Tiger or Scorcher

A quick Google Image search would tell you that. silentNate, you should've just looked those two comics up.

No it doesn't.
The only info I had was a cover story called 'When The Crowd Roared'.

I'm not too old to nick Biggie's collection of 1950's Eagle if he continues to annoy me
Don't remember Scorcher at all though, I remember Billy's Boots being in Tiger though so I guess it's stories got absorbed into that publication
