Really enjoyed her audition, she was really likeable, there was an innocence and sweetness there but she was able to have fun with Simon and the others. Also thought her song was very catchy and well written, mature coming from a fourteen-year-old.

Agree she was likeable, and seemed a normal 14 year old (I thought the same about the girl who sang Rhianna) Didnt find her song terribly original though but at least she wrote it even if it seemed familliar..

Hope Gabz gets through

For me watching the show the other night it was a "Susan Boyle" moment when a few seconds in ,I got a shiver up my spine & a massive smile on my face.
Weather Gabz wins the show is irelavant as "the one" is a number 1 & she is a super star of the future.
Cant get that song out of my mind. nice one Gabz.

I really like the song. Even if she doesn't get through she has a big future.

No surprise she's through to the final. Simon even tweeted this morning that he couldn't get the song out of his head.

I hope that she can perform something she can at least relate to.

Seems like a nice kid. But the song is mediocre at best, she's a decent but not excellent singer, and she's being overhyped so that Simon & Co. can have their little victory over the people who supported the position that "kids shouldn't be there". She's a stalking horse to help pimp that point.

So are most of the kids being lauded. Jack Carroll is probably the only kid who's talent is even CLOSE to the amount of pimping he's getting, and even with him its a little much.

I think the whole backing music in the semi-final gave it away that she wasn't really playing the piano.

The new song she did (well, for half of the performance) just didn't have the same ring to it as 'The One' in my opinion. It sounded almost the same as well. It wasn't as memorable. But, she did really well to get where she did and I hope this isn't the last we hear of her.

She really needs to get over onesies. I wouldn't go on TV in front of millions wearing something that made me look like a cow

'The One' is being released on June 30th.

I can see why they wanted to 'rush-release' it - clearly as the song is fresh in people's minds.

She's just announced here second single - 'Lie There', which she performed in the final Can't wait to hear it!

Not sure as it seemed too similar to The One.
