Probably just me but it seemed to me after the end of the audition stages that there were no really outstanding acts.

One or two good 'foreign' ones if they count as 'British'.

One or two good ones who have been pros or semi-pros for years

But outstanding? Not for me.

Not really. Although, there have been some unique acts which were really interesting but not outstanding, just entertaining to watch.

I felt this year started really well with some very good acts (even the not so good ones were OK). It then sort of tailed off a bit in the last couple of weeks.
Still some decent acts overall.

Not a one! Might not even bother to watch the live shows.

I don't get the big deal with attraction. Its good, unique and interesting but I would have no desire to see it over and over again.

I would have no desire to watch ball room dancing over and over again.

I guess it's an acquired taste.

Just Attraction for me

There have been some pretty good ones but for the first time I would say that overall, no, there hasn't. Put the better acts and 'front runners' from this year into ANY other year and they'd be nothing more they're top 3 semi-finalists to also-rans in the final.

I think the pursuit for outstanding can sometimes lead to overlooking; becoming dissapointed; and missing the genuinely talented and great. Outstanding acts tend to be only 1 or 2 each year and rightly so. That is the accolade required for the top 2 positions only as a maximum and sometimes never in a series or a completely misunderstood act. What have been the outstanding BGT performances from all series in the UK? And internationally?

So far there have been some great performances this year in the audition rounds and in the live shows too.

To me Attraction are the only ones who really stood out, and I thought Luminites were pretty good and could have a career if they do ok in the show.

No acts have been really outstanding though, I was a bit underwhelmed when the end of the auditions came because I didn't feel like we'd seen a winner. It does make it more difficult to call the finalists/winner.
