It wouldn't make sense to give the wildcard to someone who couldn't garner enough votes to get in the top three. They'd look stupid when that person was rejected again by the voters.

It was said in the main forum page but she seemed drunk, then not being there for the bit where contestants speak to A and D. I don't think she is coping with it at all.

Why the F does she not just audition for XF? Seriously hate these stupid singers on BGT!!! We have 3 effin months of XF, we do not need even more bleedin' singers on BGT... unless they are artists with their own material or talented children... and I don't mean children singing like divas so that on the radio they may as well be 25.

There are a certain element of people on this forum that just like to come on and ridicule people for the sake of it, and this just shows how pathetic and small minded that they are. I have spoken to a number of people who know a lot about jazz, and watched Alice's audition, and they said that she has a lot of talent. Good luck to her tonight.

Alice will get the wildcard anyway, so last nights result wont matter.

When I first saw her audition on BGT I quite liked her, fast forward a week later and it was like seeing a completely different person on the voice. On BGT was all shy and nervous and said her family hadn't heard her sing etc etc and yet they were with her at the voice offering support?!
She is in my opinion fake, shes realised that being cocky doesn't get you very far so changed her stance to try and get sympathy. She was acting like a little puppy that has just been kicked, pathetic. We as the viewers saw through that and Im glad she didn't go through to the final, the top 3 were the right top 3. |

I very much doubt that Alice will get the wild card. She was nervous, for whatever reason and her performance wasn't good enough. Also they will hate the fact she was too distraught to do the backstage interviews. Cowell is only interested in singers if they come first or second. This proves that the public are interested in them. She came fourth at best, MBB so she is history as far as BGT goes.

You do not need a good knowledge of jazz to know that slurred singing and poor diction sounds bad... you just need to have functional ears.

Alice is not a jazz singer - she tries to essay a jazz style. I suggest if you want to hear a jazz singer stick to Billie Holliday or Ella Fitzgerald.
She is still a fake. |

Jazz is my favourite genre of music so i have a pretty good idea of what i am talking about, and Nina Simone is my fav artists amongst many others. To keep saying that Alice is a fake is rubbish. She has a problem with her nerves and confidence which she can overcome given the right help. She will be snapped up by one of the record company's for sure.

I can't decide if she's fake or not but something did strike me about her, the first time I saw her, I had the sound down and so I noticed all the body language rather than the voice of course.
I thought she was about 15 and when it was revealed she was about 28, I found it really strange that she had all the facial mannerisms and posture of a shy teenager. Just slightly odd. |

She's got an OK voice when it comes out and sings the right words, but lets face it, the woman is not The Voice, she hasn't got the X Factor and if you can't manage to learn a 2 minute song, from where I'm sitting, that's not very Talented.
It's all Emperor's New Clothes. She's nothing special, I cannot for the life of me see what people have been raving about. She can do a song (now and then), but that's it. She's inconsistent, unrehearsed, flaky... pointless, really, trying to make a career out if it if you're not very good at the job. She should give it up and do something else. It was painful and embarrassing to watch. AND she had lipstick on her teeth. |

![]() I just think her performance was rubbish. I don't hate the woman because I don't know her. And the song wasn't really sung, it was droned and slurred, for some reason. She didn't do that in her audition... |

oh yes a country mile.. you got that right
![]() I liked her at her audition but the tears, shyness, nerves etc are a bit much. If she can't handle it now, she will be a nervous wreck if she doesn't get that under control. (Which btw I think is a tad fake imo).

If Alice does get through on the wildcard I would like to make a few suggestions in order to make herself a little more appealing to the British public: 1. get down to Primark and get yourself a onesy, 2. Get yourself a 'nan' who seems borderline bonkers to cheer from the audience 3. Sing My Funny Valentine while jumping up and down and rap midway through it. 4. Pretend to be 12 and make jokes about Simon being related to Attilla the Hun. 5. Develop a life-threatening illness from which you have only just recovered.
That should do it. |

Stop talking garbage.
The Voice were not even that hard of her and that is the way she reacts. Dear forbid if she actually released an album and it was savaged by the Critics!!! |
